I realize that we are now in the filler land, building up to Jodha and Jalal's meeting at some point later. Nevertheless, I love these episodes and here is the reason:
In Agra, everything is dark and tense. Atmosphere is full of intrigues. We also get to see too much of MA, AK, Zavida, Ruq, SD. Even good actors---and some of these are extremely good---can't help with repetitive emptiness which gets boring. (As an aside, I am seriously considering learning how to edit my videos and then take out some of this fluff.)
Moreover, we are dealing not with real forts and palaces, but with a set. However they try it, however skillful they may be, even physical space becomes familiar and repetitive.
Out in the countryside, you see new faces, new people, changing scenery, more light, more colors. That alone, I find refreshing.
I liked the way the story has reconnected with Todarmal. History demands that he and Jalal have to cross paths again for he is to become the finance minister, and this is a nice way. Todarmal will definitely recognize Kajri/Laxmi, he will recognize her as Shehenshah's begum (without her realising). He will ensure her safety and comfort, and somehow facilitate their coming together. Even Hamida Banu remembers him as a nek banda, theirs might be a good reunion too.
Jodha needs to realize her love for Jalal. That is already happening. It would be good if she consciously realizes her own mistakes. Her soul talk in her chamber just before she left promised some hope; the one in mausoleum 400 later didn't; we'll see what happens.
