While most of our Bollywood stars are fantastic people in real life, there are some nasty, arrogant and downright rude ones as well. Here's a quick look at all the mean celebrities of B-town.
It doesn't take much to get on the wrong side of Rishi Kapoor as Nawazuddin Siddique found out to his cost recently. The Lunchbox actor simply stated that he doesn't want to be a simple romantic hero who runs around trees. Rishi Kapoor who has built his career on running around trees took this as a personal insult and engaged poor Nawaz in a verbal duel. Ranbir's short tempered Dad went on to tell a helpless Nawazuddin that he doesn't have the image nor the talent to ever be a romantic hero. Nawazuddin of course chose the high rode and apologized for his statement.
Karan Johar built his TV career on being bitchy and catty about all and sundry in the industry. But this cheerful director can turn downright mean if rubbed the wrong way. He often indulges in Twitter duels with Ram Gopal Verma and has never hesitated when it comes to touching a sore point with the celebrities on his show.
And Karan's show itself has revealed the mean streak in many actors like Sonam Kapoor. The young fashionista revealed an unusually catty side of herself in her last appearance on Koffee With Karan. Her constant jabs at Ranbir invited Rishi Kapoor's fury too and the two have often been at loggerheads even during the shoot of their recent flop film Bewakoofiyaan.
How can one talk about cattiness and not mention Bollywood's Begum, Bebo. She once calledBipasha Basu a kaali billi' and openly claims that the only reason Deepika and Kangana are successful today is because she rejected the films which were eventually offered to them. But we really can't blame Kareena, being bitter about the rest of Bollywood is all she has left these days.
The always politically-correct Mr. Aamir Khan once named his dog Shahrukh. Our opinion, this simple diabolical move takes Aamir down to the level of Kareena and Rishi Kapoor when it comes to being nasty to fellow stars.
