Not to worry, you have come to the right place, where you can have all your questions answered at one place , The IFFL FAQs !!

Should I play it as individual player or can group of my friends own a team ?
You and your friends can be partners and own a team, that shouldn't be an issue. but as a group you have to pick one team of 11 players

___

Is there a basis for squad composition,  as in is there a minimum  requirement  of bowlers/batsman/wicket keepers/all rounders in each of the FL team ?
Yes, the squads can be composed as mentioned in the rules, i.e.
Batsmen:-At least 4, All-Rounders:-can be flexible depending on your wish, Wicket Keeper:-Exactly 1 (you can pick variable role wicket keepers as batsmen) ,Bowlers:-At least 3 , you can pick a maximum of 4 overseas (non Indian ) players in your squad.
One of the eleven can be made the CAPTAIN

Substitution Period is once per week, for the Prelims stage- After the necessary substitutions are made, PMs have to be sent to  ContestEntries,  any time after the end of second match on Sunday evening until, 30 mins before the start of the first game on following Monday

Substitution for Qualifiers and beyond  is Daily basis, where members can send in their updated teams, 30 minutes before the start of first game on each day

During the Prelims stage, a team can have as many as 6 subs per week
and from Qualifiers through final stage - each team can have unlimited substitutions .
___

When can we make captain changes ?
Captain changes are allowed only during the subs changes, which means you can change your captain, ONCE a week, during the prelims stage and a captain can be changed daily from qualifiers through Finale

___

Can we carry forward the  left over/un-used substitution chances to the following week ?
No, the teams will be locked in half an before start of first match every Monday and no left over subs can be carried over either
___

What happens, when a player of our team is injured? Can we have special provisions of the substitution during the week ?
No, If a player gets injured during the week and cannot play well it's your tough  luck as he can only be substituted when the window is open at the end of the week.
___

How are the dot balls scored ?
In the, IFFL, we have NOT given any provision for dot balls and they will not be contributing to the points in any way.

Yes, the captains points double irrespective of the result of the game.

___

What is the basis for points calculation in IFFL
