Without prejuidice

I feel sanchi's story is more realistic than the other couples.

Atleast for urban and middleclass.

A spoilt brat traumatised by rape turning a new leaf and trying to come to terms with marriage to the brother of the rapist.

A girl who once faked suicide did not attempt it inspite of being in such a situation.

The family supporting her instead of doing honour killing.

When politicians like Mulayam and abu azmi are giving outrageous statements, we need some stories to be told.

I don't think any of the forum members have any objections to Sanchi fighting for justice, for respect acceptance in the society and finding happiness.

It is about the way the story is being told the way it is written the way the actors are performing makes the story boring.

The content is not boring but the way it is being told is boring.

We all know that everyone has a right to justice and happiness but that doesn't mean we need to be interested in watching any old story just because it has got a message that we already and believe in.

I watch daily soaps for entertainment and there is no entertainment quotient in this story.The story has to appeal my senses I should be able to laugh or cry with her but Sanchi can't take us with her.

I might as well read a book with a story carrying this message why watch it?If it is not appealing to my visual senses.

I have a right to demand to stop showing this as a customer of this channel and the show,.

The old BV is no more. After replacements, BV has become different. Stories are hurried. Even Gehna's sister is going to have a story.

In the beginning, I found even ganga's acting too dramatic and too over the top. Her gestures, her tears were so irritating. But once she became Jagya's wife, she has evolved.

Even anandi(before replacement) was so predictable and so boring. Always crying. I stopped watching BV until Shiv entered.

Gehna's sister will have short story just like Suhasini.

Leaves if people are not interested in watching Sanchi's story that doesn't mean they are prejudiced against rape victims.

For almost a year I didn't care about Saanchi's story. The character never appealed. But after her rape the story did pick up for me.

I think these short tracks are just meant for social messages.

Sanchi's story is being told at the expense of the other characters.To make way for her story they pushed her into Jagya's story and Anandi's social service and Anandi were used to tell about Sanchi's budding mahaanta.

Balika Vadhu has till now told so many stories about so many women Sanchi is one of them but her story has been the most boring unimaginative story so far.

It has never been only about leads and their stories.

It is not just messages it is about entertainment too.

If sanchi's story was bad, it is CVs who have badly written her scenes and the way they gave screenspace to her. But her story has some relevance as sanchi and saurabh are portrayed as rich spoilt brats and some like their story too. The rich boy ended up in jail while the rich girl has to face her own conscience and turn a new leaf. The family was so smug and their smugness was shattered by this incident and they felt the blow more than the victim herself.

aparna, you can see a few members liking sanchi's story after the initial hiccups. Some like me finding it interesting too. Tastes differ and so opinions.
