Part 11(Day 5[Part 2])

"Khushi?" Raphael looked down at his shoulder, where she was resting her head.

"Hmm?" Khushi lifted her head to look at him.

"You don't want to leave your Arnav ji, do you?" Raphael asked and looked in Khushi's frightened eyes as if the mere thought of leaving her Arnav ji would stop her heartbeat.

"Never! I will never leave him!" the possessiveness in her tone would have put Arnav Singh Raizada to shame.

Raphael closed his eyes. There's still lot of work to do.

"And what do you think Khushi? Like you both are going to live here without your family? Don't you want to go to them, live with them? Just like before." Raphael asked, trying to gauge her reaction on this.

Khushi stared at Raphael. Family? With Amma, Buaji, Babuji, Nani, Jiji-Jija ji, Mamiji. Khushi smiled. Yes she wants to go back to her family. Live with them, just like before. Khushi's smile disappeared instantly. Just...just like before? When Arnav ji hated her, when he taunted her, when he thought she is after his Di's happiness. What...what if after going back he starts hating her again, what if he again starts thinking that she is after his Di's happiness? He loves his Di. He will again leave her. He had told that he loves his Di ...and...and can do anything for her. He had told that he can do anything for his Di...so...so what if he left her again? What will she do? No! She will not go back. She will not go back to the world where he loves her Di more than her and will leave her. She is happy here. She need not fear about anything if they are alone. What if Di tries to take her Arnav ji away from her? Di will take him away. Yes! Di will do that. Arnav ji had left her because of Di and if they will go back then his Di will again do something to take him away from her. Yes! She will do that. She had done that before, and she will do again. No! She will not allow that to happen. She will not go back. Never!

Khushi shook her head, afraid.

Arnav was about to enter the room when he was stopped by Raphael, who gestured him to stop right there.

"No! ...I...I don't want to go back...I will not go back..." Khushi lifted her eyes to look at Raphael. "I don't want to go back...please...please tell Arnav ji that I don't want to go back...please..." She again hugged Raphael. "I don't want to go...Anjali ji...Arnav ji's sister...she...she will take him away...she had always done that...he always hurts me because of her...he left me...he left me that day because of her...No! I will not go back...Never!! " Khushi sobbed, her fist clenching Raphael's shirt.

Arnav stood at the threshold, shocked!

Raphael stroked Khushi's hair as he looked at Arnav's shocked face. This! This is what he was fearing. Making her forget all the harsh words wasn't a big task. Making her believe Arnav's love for her wasn't a huge effort. What he feared the most was this! The fact that Arnav can do anything for his Di, can even leave her has instilled in her mind so deeply that he don't know how to abolish it. And he don't know whom to blame for this. Arnav's blind love for his Di or the circumstances this two were thrown in.

But whatever it is, he HAS to remove this from her mind. He needs to talk to Arnav.

Breaking the hug, he looked at Khushi.

"Khushi? No one is going to force you to go anywhere. You just relax ok? Don't worry. You take rest. I will leave now...will come tomorrow, ok?" Raphael asked wiping the tears off her cheek.

Khushi timidly nodded her head.

Laying her on the bed, Raphael got up.

Arnav looked at the sleeping Khushi, his eyes unblinking. He just stood there, not knowing what to do. Till now he had thought that Khushi is just insecure but NO. He was wrong. He was so wrong. It's not just insecurity. She has started hating her Di. Arnav closed his eyes. What a mess. What a mess his life has become. How is he going to clear this? How?

Raphael looked at Arnav, who was standing near the threshold. He moved towards him.

"Arnav, we need to talk." Raphael said to Arnav.

Arnav moved his eyes from Khushi to Raphael, dazed.

Raphael kept his hand on his shoulder, gesturing him to come along.

Arnav turned around, following Raphael.

Raphael stood in the middle of the living room. Turning around he saw Arnav following him and than he slummed on the sofa. His hands rising to cover his face.

"Arnav? See, I know that everyone thinks doctor has a remedy for everything but its not like that. We are taught how to study human mind but it's isn't possible to do that. Every human mind is different. We don't know which things just strike your mind and take a permanent place in there. Khushi's state is same. She loves you selflessly. If you tell her that you don't need her anymore, she will be heartbroken but still she will not try to pursue you otherwise. She will leave you and succumb herself in her imaginary world. Unlike you. You want her with you at any cost. You pleaded her, begged her, and at last left your Di just because she wants. But isn't the thing that she loves you selflessly, still she asked you to leave your Di bothers you? Doesn't it bother you that she is ready to leave you if you ask her but still she asked you to leave your Di?" Raphael looked at Arnav.

Arnav lifted his face to look at Raphael.

"It should, Arnav. It should. Because for a girl like Khushi to ask you to leave your family isn't a small thing. You can measure the depth of damage you have done to her fragile heart. She loves you, she knows that you love her but your love for your Di is being a colossal barrier between you two. I don't know how you have managed to do that. But the truth is that she thinks that, anytime, any day, any moment you can leave her for your Di. She knows that you love her but she also believes that you can do anything for your Di, can even leave her. Paranoid Schizophrenia. Give it a medical term or simply call it a fear. But the result is that she still doesn't believe you where your Di is concerned.She still thinks that if you are made to choose between her and your Di than you will choose your Di. "

"Means...means...she ...she hates Di..."

"No!" came the immediate protest.

"She isn't capable of hating anyone. If she was, than the first person she would have hated is you. Its her fear. Fear can force a person to do anything. And that's what her fear is making her do. She thinks your Di is a threat to her. Your Di is capable of snatching her Arnav ji, who loves her. She thinks once you will go back to your home, you will again become the Arnav ji who had taunted her love by calling her characterless. And all this because of whom? Your Di, right? Arnav, I can assure her by my words, but I fear that my words will not be enough to remove her fears."

Arnav got up from the couch, his mind blocked, unable to find any solution.

"What...what should I do, Raphael? I mean...I have done everything I can do to assure her of my love...and even after all this if she thinks that I can leave her for my Di than...than I don't know what more I can do..." Arnav looked at Raphael confused.

"You have assured her of your love and you are successful too but not her fear. She thinks Anjali as a threat to her love and you have done nothing to cure that. You will have to prove her that no matter what, you can never leave her not even for your Di. You will have to make her believe that your Di can never take you away from her. Your love for your Di and to the extent you went for that love had left a bitter taste for her. She thinks that everything she had gone through was because of your Di. And now also, when you are being the Arnav ji she wants, she thinks that's because you are away from your Di. So Arnav, you will have to do something for this. More than me you can help her here. So please think of something.I will come tomorrow. We will talk tomorrow and will see what we can do. Now I will leave." Raphael completed and after an understanding nod from Arnav, he turned around to leave.

Arnav saw Raphael leave. He turned to go upstairs. What is he supposed to do now? How can he put her fears to rest? He closed his eyes in regret. Why? Why had he done that? Why hadn't he controlled his tongue every time he taunted her, every time he made her believe that everything he does and cares about is his Di. He will have to remove her fears. He will have to. He wants his old Khushi, the fearless Khushi. The Khushi who loves everyone, who isn't afraid of anyone not even the Rakshash Arnav Singh Raizada.

Arnav entered the room to see Khushi sleeping. Moving towards the bed, he laid beside her. He looked at her beautiful face. Tucking the tresses behind her ear, he gave a long kiss on her forehead.

"I love you, Khushi. I can never leave you for anything or anyone. Di can never take me away from you, love. She can never. She knows how much I love you, she had known even before I realized my love for you." Arnav took her in his arms, burying his face in her hair.

He will remove that fear. He had made her believe that everything that matters to him is his Di and now he will make her believe how much SHE maters to him.

Important Note:---

Ok, so this note is to inform you all that, my exam dates are out and also project and assignment submission dates. And this will go on till 7th june. Yes, almost two months. I am really sorry guys but I will not be able to update HJTE and HOC in this two months. But I will complete ILMANY within this two months.

If I get time in this two months period than I may come up with an update, which I doubt. And this is the reason I am informing you beforehand instead of making you all wait.

But ILMANY readers need not worry as I will be updating this story. May be not twice a week but will give a weekly update.

HJTE and HOC reader will think if I am updating ILMANY than why not that. Thats because this story hardly takes 5-6 hours to draft, whereas HJTE and HOC take almost two days. Thats becoz I know what I want to write in the next part of ILMANY but I can't say the same for HJTE and HOC. I have told this earlier and repeating again, I know where to take my story but I need to put my mind in 'HOW?'. So with all the project, studies and exams I can't do that.

I hope you all will understand this. Don't worry once my exams are over I will give update on every next day. Pakka promise😉😊
