Koena Mitra went shopping… and blew up Rs 4 lakh at a shot. No, it wasn't a girlie shopping spree, she stocked up on high-end gizmos and gadgets

Maybe Koena's missing that special someone who'd buy her all those expensive rocks, but she's filling the void and how! Yet it's not rocks that catch her fancy. She'd rather indulge in sporty chic indulgences. We've heard that she's crazy about men's perfumes, but that's not all. This sporty girl has another fetish. She's a pucca gizmo freak and recently we spotted her at a gadget store shopping her heart out, spending a whopping Rs 4 lakh at one shot.

Koena laughs it off saying, "Who doesn't shop, what's the big deal?"

However, we got Paraveenbhai, known for fixing home theatres and gadgets for celebs like Sanjay Dutt, Rani, Preity Zinta, John, Bipasha and many others, to spill the beans. He says, "Among the actresses, Koena has the best collection of gadgets and latest technology for all her rooms. She ordered made-to-order speakers, which were brought in from Pune. The mega-screens are from Hong Kong, in a size not available in India. Now, we're setting up her red lounge room and her car."

The red lounge is a room she is doing up to entertain guests. Says Pravinbhai, "She ordered a jumbo-sized fridge with a bar, which also has an ice crusher. Press a button, you get crushed ice and chilled water, without opening the door. It took us two months to source the steel-finish fridge that she had asked for. It cost Rs 1.25 lakh. She also picked up a lot of other electronic gadgets. She's got all the hi-fi gadgets one could possibly have."

What kind of gadgets? "It looks like she likes a lot of noise, so all the best quality speakers, laptops, screens, cameras, the latest video games like PSP 3, air-conditioners and video games."

He adds, "She loves gadgets so much that she prefers gifting hi-end gadgets to her friends and has often called up asking for big screens, cameras, etc. to be packed off to her friends' homes."

Koena Mitra is a kind of actress who buys costumes like skirt & jeans ranging from 199 to 500 😆 she is just like an ordinary girl... and now when I heard about she shopping about 4lakhs then it is a revolutionary change in herself - donno why!!

when there was a fire attack in her flat way beck in 2005 I guess, Shekhar Suman said there wasnt a major loss as there were hardly any clothes in her wardrobe 😆 😆
