It was so good to see Bharamal-Jalal scene yesterday

I feel ever since Bairam Khan rebelled and died Akbar is missing a father in his life
Even when Bairam Khan rebelled and they had their differences Akbar still was aware that fine he had a father somewhere whom he could reach out too in case of any issues/emergency. But after his death he is absolutely lonely.
Atagah is there but Atagah is no Bairam Khan. Atagah is those innocent type of father's whom a son has to handhold. With Biram Khan no one would dare misbehave or attack Akbar. If you observe in history Akbar was attacked only after Bairam Kahn's death not before by his family/relatives etc. Because that shield which protected him no longer was there. Bairam Khan would never have allowed and could see through all games by Akbar's family, relatives and friends and keppt them at bay and ensure his safety.
So good to see in such guilt ridden saddness jalal has Bharamal to advice/console him. But Bharamal himself is no Bairam Khan whose fear can keep enemies at bay away from Akbar. He is not as innocent as Atagah Khan but neither is her a great leader/politician like Bairam Khan whom everyone fear. So currently jalal is defenseless and sorely missing a father figure in his life.
In think the person who can take that place with be either Todarmal or Tansen who are 30-40 years elder to Akbar and are mature and can advice/counsel him. Especially Todarmal looks to be a good reader of people's mind how he recognised that badal was akbar??? So once he comes in Akbar's life he will get good guidance and a fatherly figure whoi can guide him and console/counse;l him what do you all think?
Also todarmal had no children and once todarmal lost his house idol(Gods) in bengal while travelling. He was so depressed he refused to come back to agra. So first akbar wrote him letter to not get so depressed and come back, when he refused akbar sent soldiers to find the idol and when that also failed he only went and got back todarmal. So todarmal was definetly close to akbar or he would not bother about todarmal becoming sad and go to console him. When parents become old they become like kids and kids have to become their parents. That is what Akbar did in this case.

Yes. Todarmal will replace atga in Jalal 's life. I feel todarmal is more powerful than Atga as he is good enough in finance, administration advisor, and a great warrior too.

I too don't like Bharmal he is a selfish king... He didn't once thought to talk to JO before marriage he fixed her marriage with Jalaal. How could he think they will get marry of her daughter like that... In the true sense he sold her daughter for his sons & Ameer sake.

Shivani case is worst, how could he not think about JOdha, especially how can she face her sasural and Jalaal who gave the FORT for Sukanya wedding...

Just like Jalaal, Jo also had selfish parents, but good that atlest Bharmal understood jalaal pain & did console him that Jo will be safe and Jalaal love& concern for JO will strengthen their relationship..

Even I too feel the same. sujamal' s life is detoriating day by day is just becos of Bharmal as he has made his own son the next king (truly selfish) and failed his responsibility towards sujamal's future.

you are right i was not getting right word to describe bharamal
while bairam khan is street smart, aggressive and loyal, atagah is soft and loyal while bharamal will be selfish, manipulative and loyal because he is benefitted from that. Bairam Khan and Atagah are loyal irrespective of akbar being powerful or not since they were with him from birth and when humayun was peniless. They have no expectations from akbar that akbar is emperor or a pauper they will be with him irrespective of the situation.
I think todarmal will be worldly wise, mature, strict and loyal smiliar to bairam khan but not aggressive like him. Todarmal will be a calm kind of person but who can see thru others unlike bairam khan who could see thru others but ambitious and aggressive(of course not for himself but for jalal only, he never wanted to be shahenshah by killing jalal unlike an adham/maham, so whatever he won he won for akbar not for himself).
