Honestly, I'm running out of words. What an episode. What a precap.
What performances & boy, what a couple, do Zain & Aaliya Abdullah, make.
Before anything I can put across, take a bow Suchitra Pillai. You define class, grace & elegance. Her expressions, the voice modulation, the pain she was able to emote through her eyes, was astounding. I've still seen some handful, gorgeous & stunning men like Barun Sobti & now, our very own Harshad Arora, blessed with those beautiful, deep set, intense, caramel eyes & the skills to make the best of them. But Suchitra.P, is the first woman on Indian television, that has been able to pull through such a flawless performance, in terms of emoting pain, helplessness, desperation through her gorgeous eyes.
It is such a shame to those, that are probably missing out on a show as beautiful. It's frankly, after a long time in Indian television, where one could get the privilege of able to stumble across a show like Beintehaa, which is excellent in terms of storytelling. I don't know about it being, an old wine in a new bottle, but it definitely has an aura, an essence, which is the only of it's kind and is only & only, exclusive to the BI club.
The intensity in every scene, yet balancing it off with that generous quantity of subtlety, graciousness, elegance and class, is what I define to be "quality". This is quality entertainment.
Thank you Creatives, team BI, Colors, for putting up such an amazing show, together. For such a lovely episode tonight. The way, Zain looks at her & cups her face in the morning, was heartwarming to watch.❤️ Aaliya's promise to Maami, that scene, I've no words to describe. Nothing could have been better, than the "Samaj thi kya ho tum apne aap ko ", from Suriyya's end to complete that scene, to add that realistic touch to the idealism that ran along. The essential balance, that completed it. Realistic, well timed reactions & those sensitive exchange of dialogues, couldn't have brought the scene out, more perfectly than it came across.
Suriyya's tears, anger & helplessness, was beautifully portrayed by Suchitra Pillai & I almost teared up myself there. Osmaan & Zain coming to comfort & console her, Aaliya's promise, Zain's supportive, trusting, glances towards Aaliya was beautiful to watch. I loved how Zain looks at Aaliya in that scene. There was a tinge of admiration he had for his wife there, a sense of support & respect, that he showed for her words, through his expressions. Thankfully, they didn't mess it up with OTT doses of the same, but Harshad executed it brilliantly & subtely, leaving the viewers still guessing, with what could possibly be going on in Zain's head, regarding Aaliya. If only, Suriyya knew what a worthy, supportive & adorable DIL she has in Aaliya Zain Abdullah. sighs
Lastly, I loved how Aaliya gracefully accepted Suriyya's remark & told her, that it isn't her, but it's Allah who is going to help them, after 18 years now. The best scene ? Yes it was. The ZaYa bedroom scene, I loved to bits. Their conversation & her asking him, if he is angry with her, his reply to the same, was just a lovely treat to watch. But the show stealer, I'll kinda still give it to, to the Mami-Aaliya scene, for Suchitra Pillai's flawless performance (both yesterday & today), Aaliya's kind words, Osmaan & Zain's gentle hand of support.
Again, the aura this show has, is something none else can touch. Beintehaa is finally here, to steal the glory.
