Q. You have said its been a dull year so far but then why is it that most films are called hits like Yaariyan, Jai Ho, Hasee Toh Phasee, Gunday Highway, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Queen, Ragini MMS 2 and now Main Tera Hero? Its like a hit every week.
Ans. There is a difference between what is said and the ground reality. The industry is struggling basically as the growth in business since 2013 is not at par with how expenses are growing to make a film. Big films have huge costs due to high star prices and small films need big marketing which itself becomes hard for them to cover, let alone covering production cost as well.

Ans. Acceptance does not come overnight and Main Tera Hero may not prove to be a major success but Varun Dhawan has been liked and could go on to better things.
