The only TV serial that i watch and ardently follow is Jodha akbar. What i loved about the serial was characterization, dialogues and scene execution including wonderful actors. Jodha and Akbar's hatred, friendship, nokjhok, liking, jealousy, passion were so well executed before up until RECENTLY I have seen Jodha's character being assassinated beyond repair.
How many times will she realize that she is in love and later deny it. There is no love in her actions, expressions or dialogues. The Script writers have miserable failed to move her character forward. sHE DOES NOT have to be stubborn to prove that she is a STRONG women. Jodha was so caring, passionate and intelligent BUT this Jodha that i am seeing is coming across as dumb and lifeless.
I cannot connect with her any more.
On the other side, Jalal from the beginning always had strong feelings for her and continues to have those feelings which has been very well executed. Even today he was feeling guilty for what he did and desperate to get back to her. However since Jalal's outburst , there was not a single scene that showcases Jodha's guilty, her pain for Jalal's hurt, her recollection of Jalal's love confession, where as we have seen that Flashbacks in Jalal'smind through out today's episode.
Jodha had a chit chat with her Antaratma after she had her beauty sleep, where she denied her love towards Jalal.
I pray to God to put some brain in SW mind and give us meaningful scenes and it is so dangerous when you take some many creative liberties in killing the characterization of Historic character like Jodha.
Some one please call EKta or zee and ask them to WAKE UP. I love this show and can't see it going down to drains.
To other serial watchers:If you watch any other popular TRP serials, do you know if they always have some meaningless scenes and tracks. Do they ever go wrong in their characterization after 10 months of running the show. Just curious.
