Astha Sees Aditi's True Colors
Varad brings back Astha's video camera from Goa. While viewing Goa's videos, Astha finds out that some of Aditi's actions were captured accidently. She is shocked to find out that Aditi was all the accidents that happened to her in Goa. She confronts Aditi and tells her that she is going to reveal her truth to the Agnihotri family. However, Aditi breaks the memory card of the video camera before Astha can show the evidence to Agnihotri family. Both Shlok and Anjali refuse to believe Astha when she tells them that Aditi tried to kill her multiple times. Astha is heartbroken at Shlok's distrust of her.
Ajinkya also returns and Niranjan persuades him to stay for few more days. Astha sees a childhood picture of Aditi in Ajinkya's wallet, where the little Aditi had six fingers. Astha gets suspicious because the grownup Aditi has five fingers and there is no scar to prove that she had her sixth finger surgically taken off, She then shows Aditi some childhood pictures of Shlok and Aditi from Agnihotri's old albums. When Aditi fails to recognize the pictures, Astha realizes that Aditi is fake. She confronts Ajinkya and Aditi with the truth in front of all the Agnihotris, but Ajinkya tells them that the girl in the house was his daughter. Meanwhile, Aditi does some fake drama of consuming some insecticide to show that Astha had hurt her so much with these accusations that she wanted to kill herself. Once again, the Agnihotri family believes Aditi over Astha and Shlok too berates Astha for hurting his baba's best friend's daughter.
Astha and Shlok - Divorce is Cancelled
The distance between Astha and Shlok again grows because of their differences about Aditi. As the divorce hearing approaches, Varad advices Shlok to express his feelings to Astha so that Astha does not leave him. However, Kalindi wants Astha to leave Shlok because she feels that Shlok would never be able to keep Astha happy. Astha is torn between her feelings for Shlok and expectations of her mother. During the court hearing, she however changes her mind at the last minutes and tells the judge that she does not want to give a divorce to Shlok as she loves him and wants to have a life with him. Shlok too then decides against the divorce. Varad, Vinayak, Ajju and Avdhoot are ecstatic at Astha's decision whereas Kalindi is shocked. After Ajju and Avdhoot makes her understand that Astha's happiness lies with Shlok, Kalindi relents and decides to make peace with Shlok and Agnihotri family. She invites Agnihotri family for a dinner, but Anjali on Niranjan's behalf declines and sends only Shlok and Astha. Kalindi makes a first move towards Shlok by welcoming him and telling him to take care of Astha. Shlok too is shown changing slowly as he wants Astha in his life though he is unable to understand or express his feelings for her.
Siddharth and Jyoti - Beginning of a New Friendship
Meanwhile, Jyoti starts relaxing the more she realizes that Siddharth is a gentle person, who gives free tutoring to neighborhood kids. She is further impressed when she realizes that Siddharth fights for rights of girls. Siddharth, a free lance reporter, is ecstatic when he gets an interview from a prestigious media company. He goes for the interview and it is shown that it is Varad's company where Siddharth gets the job.
Siddharth gets busy with his job and asks Jyoti to go out for grocery shopping. Jyoti goes out and tries to call Astha, but is unable to get in touch. While back at home, Jyoti slips while hanging wet clothes. When Siddharth takes her to the doctor, he finds out that Jyoti is pregnant. Jyoti finally tells him a part of her story about being married to an abusive person who did not want daughters. She tells him that the reason she ran away from Abhay was to save her unborn daughter. Siddharth becomes even more protective of Jyoti. Jyoti is touched when she sees Siddharth caring for her and her unborn daughter. Siddharth decides that Jyoti (whom he knows as Roshni) would be better off staying with his aunt as he works at irregular hours. He tells Jyoti that his aunt is very kind and would take care of Jyoti and her child in his absence.
Astha is Kidnapped
Aditi becomes even more determined to kill Astha when she sees a growing closeness between Astha and Shlok. Astha too vows to expose Aditi to the Agnihotri family. She follows her to an old abandoned house where she sees a glimpse of Shlok's photo behind the locked door. She asks Shlok to come to the location. Shlok reluctantly comes, but then leaves when a watchman (who had been bribed by Aditi) that the house had not been used by anybody for years.
Aditi decides to take advantage of this opportunity and texts Astha using Shlok's phone to come to that place. When Astha arrives back at the site of abandoned house, Aditi kidnaps Astha. Now Astha had told Anjali before coming to the place that she is going out to meet. When Shlok returns home and finds out from Anjali that Astha went to meet him and has not returned home, he gets worried. He and Varad decides to search for Astha, but are unsuccessful. Varad asks some people to trace Astha's mobile phone and finds out that Astha's phone was in that abandoned house. Shlok decides to go there to search for Astha whereas Varad calls the police. Aditi, who is now worried about Shlok finding Astha, decides to go back to the abandoned house and kill Astha before Shlok reaches the place.
