I'm trying not to analyze the show actually. Too much analusing and discussing ruins the fun of watching the show for what it is ... Its not possible though when u r spending so much time on the forum u get drawn to all kinds of posts...still I try, having more fun placing bets on the views over at the promo threads.lol.speaking of which there better be a new segment soon😆🤣

That said, since you asked, I don't agree with everything that Paro is being made to do. I hv my issues with that...there is a list but I won't go into it. Its not necessarily just abt Paro though or come up at this point only but has to do with execution and pacing..lack of an adequate build up and a lingering moment that lets it all sink in, sometime it feels rushed... Despite the flaws, I am still not put off by the show... not yet anyway.Yes this is show is not perfect and could be better. I think it ultimately comes down to what clicks with each individual, when we like something we will find ways to justify it and vice versa. Either that or im just too shallow and in love with Rudra and Paro.😃

I do like how they hv established the contrast between Rudra and Paro by this point, as Sush's post suggested, Rudra is too afraid to love while Paro has embraced that very idea whole heatedly albeit with her naivety in tact. And is trying to convince him to open up to the idea and give it a chance, but she has no clue that they look at the same thing with opposing views... and yeah its not been a perfect ride thus far but I'm not going to hold it against them...

Coming back to Paro, she is at a stage where she has nothing more to lose and at the cusp of something she now is convinced is a very special thing in her life (and she literally has nothing else to fall back on) in her mind, she is doing the right thing...can you blame her for going for it?

Do I agree with everything Paro or Rudra do? No. Would I hv done things differently, most definitely. But that's me and this is them and that's that. This is their story.

As long as they don't make her too juvenile, shallow and outright silly... It shudnt be too bad. I'll take this FL who is fighting for what she wants over a FL that's crying buckets over silly things and yet not doing anything abt it, any day.

Although I did tell her that I write about the show on the Internet...she didn't pay much attention to that...I think...But when I ask her sometimes...about some major issue girls are debating about on IF...she is just like...because ...the character is Indian...I am like mom...the girls are all Indians...who are having the debate...and she just says...Y'all just love to split hair...😆

She thinks I split hair too at times...and she goes...you are becoming too American ...you have to learn not to do that...This was when I was talking to her about the illegalization of gay relationships in India...which I thought was an absurd decision and didn't have support in the constitution...My point being..."immoral" is not the same as "illegal" ...( Yup...I do discuss all kinds of topics ...with her!😃) Although she did concede to my point on that one...

By the way, I feel exactly what your mom feels. I see a love story. I see the beautiful strength of Paro's and the immense fear of Rudra's.

I see a journey of a girl smitten with a hero of her dreams, and her simple understanding of relationships.

I see a man, so scared to accept his ever growing feelings for her, that he is lashing out in every which way he can, just so he can put some distance between them. He so badly wants to convince her that he is not right for her. His fear of losing her is so overwhelming, that he hopes pushing her away will actually solve things for him. How ironic!!

Let your mom know that she has a fan in me...I love when people have unbiased opinions, and takes the story for what it is!!!
