Friends, it looks like more kheechofying is on the cards. Now they have brought Chameli to add to our distress!
Quick update:
Dev manages to bring Kaajal home from the scene of the fight, but no one is at home anyway. He puts her on her bed and summons the doctor ... all the while there are extremely tender scenes of him brushing her hair away from her face, rubbing her hands, full of love that he acknowledges to himself but realises he cannot say openly when she is conscious. The doctor visits and bandages his head and checks out Kajal still unconscious.
Meanwhile Kajal opens her eyes ... but when Dev tries to comfort her she remembers the molestation scene of the taxi driver and gang and becomes hysterical first, then Dev calms her with difficulty when she just leans on him, hugs him and falls asleep on his shoulder. When he tries to make her lie down, she is holding tight to his shirt! He smiles and covers her with the bedsheet.
Just then Chachi, Paua and Ameesha return from shopping and are shocked to see a bandaged Dev, who tells them everything that happened! Chachi scolds Dev and says he is responsible for Kajal's distress and he better not do any such thing in future. He accepts the blame, Kajal is watching all this from upstairs as Chachi scolds Dev ...
As Dev goes upstairs Kajal sees him and smiles ... and says Thanks for the timely saving of her situation and for accepting the blame fully! He says he is to blame, she says she is to blame, then they both agree both are to blame. He says they should at least be friends if they have to get this plot unraveled together instead of fighting like kids. She agrees and smiles again. Both become extremely friendly with each other ... and Dev is about to tell her no need to say thanks to those who are very close ... but changes his sentence midway and asks her to take rest ... she smiles warmly!
Meanwhile Karan is in their house carpark when his lawyer appears before him totally beaten black and blue by the thugs. They also call Karan just then warning him that if their money is not got immediately they will do the same to Karan. Ameesha comes there shocked! The lawyer says the thugs threatened to ask Dev and NT for the money if Karan does not give it, which terrifies Ameesha/Karan.
Karan asks his lawyer to beg for two days time for the first instalment to be paid to the thugs ... because it is a very huge sum. Then he tells Ameesha to somehow get from Dev's room the papers of Radio City which Dev signed in the restaurant so that they can pledge that contract for raising money! Karan then goes away in his car refusing to tell Ameesha where he is going ... as he is in mental worry!
In his room Dev is unable to sleep that night and silently goes to Kajal's room to watch her sleeping ... at that time, Ameesha enters his room and while searching for the Radio City papers she sees the papers on which he had been practising Dev's signature. She decides she now has the ammunition to create fireworks the very next day to expose this impostor calling himself Dev!
Next day morning again Dev is in his room staring lovingly at a photo of Kajal when Paua catches him doing that and says "Better watch out if that Chameli sees you like this she will tear your heart out!" Dev asks Paua to vanish and hugs the photo ...
... it is the day of the puja at home and the preparations are on downstairs and Chachi is telling Kajal how she should not excuse Dev so easily when he becomes angry for little things, when Ameesha walks past thinking "Here's my chance today to expose dear Dev, I'll do that as soon as Karan returns ...".
The doorbell rings meanwhile and Kajal offers to open it. When she opens the door, there is Chameli outside. She is shocked! Freeze!

Friends, looks like they are going to stretch this confusion for a couple more weeks at least with this new Chameli factor.
Let's see, Karan needs two days to pay up, Ameesha wants to expose Dev that day itself ... God know how many days we dejected viewers need to hang ourselves ... we can start today and hang tomorrow and the full weekend!
