That's a shame but she probably wasn't that passionate about pursuing acting in the first place if she gave up on it that easily. I liked her in Cocktail but I could never see her making it big and taking into consideration her age and the short shelf life of bw actresses, she probably made a smart decision lol.

Possessiveness and trust issues are interrelated. It is natural to have some possessiveness. But most people's possessiveness is balanced by trust and good faith. "I trust my significant other to make the right choices and not betray me. I don't need to restrict or control their life to assert that they are committed to me". Controlling and restricting others is caused when there is a lack of trust. People don't trust the behaviors of their significant others.
