Can you imagine Astha getting older?

A middle-aged Astha ,

An older Astha,

A senior citizen Astha

-still laughing, taking insults, throwing herself at her husband,

explaining how she fell in love once very 6 months- again &again

with the same man for reasons incomprehensible to both the audience and the man!

😕

Yes. it's possible to imagine anjali, sojal, Jyothi, even Kavya -maturing , changing ,

standing on a ground of experience- perhaps turning better or bitter

according to what they experience. But hard to imagine astha change.

After all, her SR experience would change a stone to wax or wax to a stone- but

how much has she changed?

So Astha cannot age. Transport her to The Never Never Land to live with

Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, Unless the makers take this a s a last opportunity to

change Astha's charcter.

Those very qualities look different in different circumstances, particularly

if life is giving a person reasons to mature and be strong, but they don't do it

or can't do it. Hence the idea of a Time-curve. How a person is before

an experience and how she is after the experience- this is what dignifies age, I think.

I don't know what kind of message the CV's are trying to send with how they're portraying Astha. But there's nothing romantic about abuse, and I can't seem to comprehend how Astha managed to fall in love with Shlok during these 6 month's, even though she got nothing but hate and mistreatment in return? And on top of that she keeps being vocal about it time and again despite the constant rejection from Shlok's side. Shlok barely needs to belittle her; she does a great job doing that herself.

True. Nobody can take away your dignity, if you won't let them.

Astha however accepts insults even to her parents- so much and so often!

Sometimes,she makes Love look frightening!

Perhaps. but in Anjali's case it looks more like fear than love.
Maybe in the past there was love- don't know-they are yet to
show the circumstances of young Anjali. the circumstances of Astha are however
very good-no one could ask for a more affectionate and supporting family.
