It was a night of success. Reyaansh Singhania, succeeded in being the best business tycoon of that year and all the cameras were flashing on him taking his short interview,
Media: Sir, whom would you dedicate this award?
R: my hardwork!
M: sir, what is your strength which made you win this award?
R: again, it's my hardwork!
M: You weakness sir?
R: I don't have any weakness!
Saying so he left the place with the rich trophy in his hand, as soon as he reached the mansion, he found his wife waiting at the entrance happy to the zenith!
T: Congratulations reyaansh!
R: mind your buisiness, you know that you don't have any right in my life, then why do you bother to interfere damn it? I don't need your bloody wishes! Just go away from here!
He shouted on the top of his voice and she was shaken, she ran into HER room crying hard.
Rey shook his head and went to his room and placed this award among all other awards he got.
He took a few sips of alcohol and drifted off to sleep.
Next morning he was getting ready to his office and getting down the stairs clasping his watch. He always saw taani at the dining table arranging the breakfast but she was not there, his eyes searched for her.
Ramu kaka was arranging the breakfast and
R: kaka! Taani kaha hai?
K: saab, mem saab subah se apne kamre se baahar nahi aayi!
R: Abhi tak?
K: pata nahi saab!
Rey left for his office, and brushed off his thoughts, he went to his cabin and started his work. The day went on and he was about to leave when his PA entered the cabin
R: yes sandeep? You want to say something?
S: sir, I need leave for couple of days.
R: why?
S: sir, its my wife's chemotherapy treatment sir, I need to be there with her. and from tomorrow I should be there for every alternate day or for every two days.
R: she is a cancer patient?
S: yes sir, but in second stage, I need to be there with her, once she recovers I will join the office actively.
R: but, for every alternate day and for every two days, I don't think it's easy for you and me also!
S: sir, I can't take the risk of my job sir, I need a minimum income, so I will try to come.
R: Don't worry sandeep, you take a long leave, and you will get your salary but not full salary.
S: thank you so much sir!
R: you are welcome, and I will hire a temporary PA meanwhile.
S: thank you again sir!
And he leaves,
Rey started to think about his temporary personal assistant and he was getting a faint idea that somewhere he saw a file who's CV has the qualification of MBA in Osmania University.
Soon it clicked him!
R: taani?
But why should I give her?
I don't have a choice because I can't get a efficient worker so soon.
But how is taani efficient?
Because she worked for 4 years in Shekhawat group of industries and brought it to the top 10 leading industries.
After fighting with himself and reasoning as to why he should give taani the job, he left the office and went to the mansion.
He again was searching for taani but couldn't find her. it was 10 pm in the night but normally she will be awake by this time.
He informed kaka to call her to his room.
Taani enters his room with blood shot, puffy eyes and a blank face. She was not looking at him and was looking at the floor.
Rey handed her a file
R: you are my temporary personal assistant from tomorrow. Don't think that I have given you this job because you are my wife, but I have given because you have enough experience to handle it. I can't take risks in such situations.
Joining is from tomorrow and you should be there at sharp 9 AM.
Taani silently took the file and left his room, she dint even ask him anything nor atleast an OK.
By the time rey turned to know her response, she left the room and she was going to her room. Rey felt bad, in fact very bad.
He was not able to sleep that night; taani's face was bothering him so much. He went to her room and was about to open the door, he was feeling a weird sensation as he was going to her room for the first time.
He slowly opened the door and saw taani from the thin opening from the door, she was wiping her tears and writing something serious, he saw it keenly and noticed it was her diary.
She shut the diary, wiped her eyes again and kept it in her topmost shelf. She went to the window, folded her hands and was praying, tears still rolled down her cheeks from her closed eyes.
She wiped them and lay on her bed curling herself hugging her legs.
Rey was numb after looking whatever happened, he was going back to his room and saw that kaka was wrapping up some food.
R: kaka, ye kya hai?
K: taani bitiya roz ye ssochti hai ki aap aaoge aur unke haath ka khaana khaaogey, aur fir aapke khaane ke baad unho khaayegi. Par aap toh ghar pe khaa hi nahi rahe ho ek hafte se, toh taani bitiya bhi nahi khaa rahi.
Rey couldn't store what kaka said for a while
K: isiliye bohot khaana bach raha hai saab.
Rey went to his room and opened his cupboard. He took out a photo frame from the bottom shelf and smiled a little. It was his marriage photo in which rey was filling her maang with vermilion.
He fell on his knees and started to cry. After crying for a long time he hugged that photo frame and slept.
Next morning after getting ready he rushed to taani's room as if a kid rushes finding for his chocolate, but taani was not there.
He then saw the time and noticed it was 9 30 and taani left long back.
Rey drove off to the office and found taani was talking with an employee.
Rey reached there and his employee wished him "good morning sir"
Rey was looking at taani and taani also wished him in low voice "good morning sir"
R: good morning! In my cabin, now!
Taani followed rey and rey started to explain what she has to do there.
Lunch hour
Pune: ma'am, sir aapko bula rahe hai
Taani goes to rey
R: taani, please take your seat.
Taani thought as it's his office he is acting as if he loves his wife so much.
Meanwhile the lunch arrives
The pune serves both of them and leaves,
Rey starts to eat and after he starts, taani lowers her gaze and eats silently, there is no expression on her face, only a pale and blank face.
Rey's heart was aching, he was not able to eat, he sees taani was not eating the curry and tries to start a conversation
R: taani, have the curry.
T: I am allergic to that sir!
After lunch, he doesn't feel like working on anything, he does not understand how to solve his marriage.
He rested his head backwards and started to think,
E: sir!
R: yes
E: sir, taani ma'am cracked the Japanese deal sir, they said they will meet for the presentation in the next month.
We just got their mail.
R: what? How? I mean how did she?
Rey went to taani's cabin and
R: taani, you are a genius! How did you do this?
T: sir, it's a simple technique which I learnt in my previous experience. I thought to give a try and it cracked out. I dint expect this!
R: thank you! Thank you so much
He suddenly pulled her into a hug
Thank you so much taani, jo kaam me ek saal se nahi kar paaya, you just did it in one day!
Rey and taani came out of her cabin and all the employees were madly happy for the fact that finally the Japanese contract is finally RS industries!
R: enjoy guys, celebrate for today!
And rey held taani's hand and left the office, both were in rey's car. Rey was driving the car with a smile and taani was happy that rey was happy but was scared for some reason. What if she is the same in their home?
Rey drove to the ice cream parlor and asked her to order whatever she likes,
After having their ice cream, rey was talking to her non-stop about the friends and foes of their company and many many more things, his likes, dislikes and everything
Taani also opened up and they did not know when they became so comfortable.
They had their dinner outside and finally reached their mansion.
He was holding her hand and they entered the mansion, taani was going to her room and rey left her hand sadly, he went to his room. Taani changed and came to his room for giving him the details of the Japanese contract.
He put the file aside and pulled her towards himself. She placed her hands on his chest and
T: rey, ye aap_____
R: I love you!
T: sach? (teary)
Rey started to kiss her eyes and trailed off kissing everywhere on her face, she did not want this time to end.
He slowly took her in his arms and went to their bed; she then noticed that their marriage pic was majestically hanging on the wall behind the bed. He pressed his body to hers and was passionately kissing her the whole night.
Finally accepting his love for her.
