I want to see how Shlok would react if Sid shares some laughs with Aastha. It could happen if he ends up working for Varad and is invited to a party at the Agnihotris. Both being fun-loving people, they will bond quickly.

Shlok would be jealous, unreasonably of course, though he knows that there is nothing going on between them. Because Sid is doing what he could not, bring back Aastha's smiles. He can realize what he has stolen away from Aastha, her free spirit and laughter. He has to realize that he has been inadequate as a lover/husband to Aastha and she could be much more happier with a person like Sid. Only then can he attempt to bring her smiles back to prove himself worthy of her.

Great thought dsr. I specifically liked the above portion quoted because Shlok really needs to be jolted into that realisation as words fall onto deaf ears. Varad talked about Shlok's luck in finding someone who loves him truly, madly, deeply but he scoffed at him. However, if he were to glimpse a scene of Aastha enjoying and sharing laughter with Sid, who is similar to her in nature, it should dawn on him how much his misery dampens Aastha's spirit. That his inadequacies are hindering their marriage. Honestly I just want the writers to kick start on Shlok becoming worthy of Aastha because I am getting disillusioned with the way their 'love' story is shaping up. Shlok throws tantrums and Aastha indulges him. The one time she finally gave him the silent treatment, it was shortlived. It's time for Shlok to feel the jealous facet of love, even if fleetingly.

It would be nice if Aastha and Sid knew each other before but if they are college friends, then the age difference between Sid and Jyothi will be too much. Jyothi is Shlok's elder sister I think😕. Shlok's age according to his DL is around 28 yrs. Going by that Jyothi should be about 30 yrs old. Aastha is fresh out of college, so she should be about 23 yrs old. If Sid is Aastha's age then that's a huge age gap. Sid told Varad that he worked in many companies before so he is not a fresh graduate. He may not be Aastha's college friend.

I can't believe I did all this stupid research😛

thanks veracity.

actually i think they are following a trend. first aastha does something and then shlok follows her.

aastha fell in love first and then shlok fell according to "girpade" scene.

aastha trusted her mother over shlok and filed for divorce but then she chose to trust shlok and save her marriage.
shlok trusts his father over aastha and now he should trust aastha and save their marriage.

shlok's turn will come once the divorce issue is settled i think. hoping.😊
