TV actors vs Starkids

I am surprised BW is not flooded with TV actors who want to move over to films. People already know if they can act, some of them can dance really well, have fan bases, they look good. It would really stop the BW is closed to outsiders chant as most seem to be from outside. SRK is the biggest example of why they should. So why not launch more TV actors than unproven starkids ? Thoughts ?

The problem is most of the famous and overhyped TV actors are wooden planks😆 The ones who are actually talented fade into oblivion😆

The issue is that a few of them assume that they are superstars just after one hit show on Telly😕 And accept every B grade movie that comes their way..Now doing a reasonably good show on Telly is better than grabbing a B grade movie but i don think these guys will ever learn😆

It's because there's this whole outside-insider vibe in Bollywood. Star kids always claim that they don't have it easy and they also have to struggle to prove themselves. But at least they get an opportunity. I'm sure many television actors and actresses are ambitious and very talented and good looking but some just don't get that opportunity. And if you're someone like Sanaya Irani or Dhrasti Dhami and you're doing exceptionally well on the television medium (in terms of money and fame), then I guess somewhere you might lack that motivation to go and begin that struggle in Bollywood all over again.

see KSG,shilpa and barun

they did choose movie but with bad scripts

what happened to barun??he quit a great show for what,something which is stalled!!!

they also get to do b-grade movies

some do regional movies

actors such as Shah rukh,vidya,rajeev khandelwal,sushant,raam kapoor chose well their movies and they get their due

but i feel rajeev is still underrated!!

And it's also because Bollywood belittles the television industry. They look at television as if its inferior and regressive, which it can be. A lot of shows of Indian television are terrible to say the least. But just like there are commercial masala, cookie-cutter movies, there are television shows which show the same recycled stories but they both work!

It's a sad reality though.

This i agree..Just look at the way Sushant is treated on KWK..If he was a Kapoor or a Khan, none of them would have dared to pass those comments or make those faces tbh😆

The reason I asked 😆. I don't watch serials, but fell into the IPKKND rabbit hole a while back 😳 thaks to YT and well I wondered what happened to him and that led to wondering about others and this post. ☺️
