The episode starts with the public prosecutor calling his witnesses. First, the delegate who was ther in Raizada home when Rahul was threatened by Viren that he will kill him. Then, the security guard who wrote down Viren's car number and arrival time. The Pub Pros says this is an open and shut case. Arti says Viren went there. I agree. Then she produces a copy of the timings register which the security has noted down. She says Viren came there at 9.05 But according to the postmortem report, Rahul was killed somewhere between 8 and 9. The Pub Pros says a difference of 5 minutes is not big, the Postmortem reports can have this discrepancy. Arti argues that Viren cannot be called a killer ignoring this discrepancy. Then the Pub Pros calls another witness. It is the person with whom Dhruv was in a meeting in Pune at the same time when Rahul was killed.So it is now proved that Dhruv was not in station to have killed Rahul. Arti then talks ill of the Pub Pros. She tells him that he does not know how to deal a casae, he has grown old. She asks him to go home and sleep. This makes the Pub Pros wild, he tells Arti that he will pull out her voice. Arti uses this, tells the court that just bcos he has said this, it does not mean that he will do it. This is the same thing that happened to Viren. He was so annoyed and angry at Rahul that he uttered those words in a moment's anger. He did not mean to really kill Rahul. The judge announces a break of 30 minutes. Ved is very sad that Arti has not used the proof. All go out of the court. Dhruv is about to be taken when he confronts Arti and tells her that she has to save his papa. If he is saved and papa is arrested, then he says that she will always for life, remain a culprit in his eyes. Dhruv goes saying this. Arti is now in a dilemma. Ved comes there, asks her why she has not used the proof? She says i gave you a proof earlier, but you destroyed it. But now, why are you not using it when you know very well that you can save papa and Dhruv? Arti says so, you want me to prove their innocence, at the same time, tell all about your identity. If i do this, i will lose Dhruv. So i will not do this. Ved then smiles, tells Arti , so if this is your problem, let me tell you that i did not give this proof to save myself. I gave it to you so that you can save them. You have the tape, edit it as you want, give them only the part which can prove their innocence. I will go away from your and Dhruv's life. But please help them. She pleads.

The court case resumes. The Pub Pros says , though Arti gave some good points, she needs to prove and produce witness to save Viren. Then Arti gets up, shows the mobile to all. She says that she has a proof which will tell all that there was a third person who was involved in this killing. Rudra is shocked to hear this. Ved is relieved as Arti has now used the proof. Ved thinks about the moment when she told Arti to edit it as she wants. So Ved is in tears, thinks her last proof to prove her identity is gone. She has to live her life as Lali . She then gets up, starts to go out of the room, when the tape is switched on by Arti. Arti has not edited anything, Ved's identity comes out in public. Kavitha, Dhruv are all shocked. Dhruv looks at Ved who just stands near the door hearing this. She is in tears.Arti produces the phone bills of Rahul and Ved's mobile. The time of their talk is told to be 8.10 This was when Rahul was killed. Arti says that at 8.10, Dhruv and Viren were no way near Rahul's house. She also says that Rahul asked the person who was he, what does he want? Arti says if the killer was Dhruv or Viren, Rahul would have recognised the person. So she proves that it was a third person not known to Rahul. The court then gives a judgement that both Dhruv and Viren are released. Ved is happy. Uma hugs her daughter. Dhruv is now in shame, hides his face under his palms, thinks to himself, how did i do this mistake? How did i marry Arti when Ved was there? He then turns to Ved. Ved at the same time, thinks of the word she has given Arti. So she runs away from there. Dhruv follows her out. Dhruv is mobbed by media people who asks him, what will he do now as he knows that his first wife is alive? Dhruv is not intersted though, he pushes them runs behind Ved. Ved is running in the road. Dhruv calls for her, follows her. Ved sees him coming, runs faster. As she is running, she slips, falls down, there is a vehicla coming fast towards her. But at the nick of the moent, Dhruv pulls her towards him. He holds her hand tightly. Ved screams at him, why did u save me Dhruv? I do not wish to live. Leave my hand. He does not leave. Finally, he leaves her hand, folds his hands in a sorry pose, gets down to his knees in the middle of the road, pleads forgiveness. He has tears running down his cheeks. Ved is touched. She also kneels near him. She holds his hands, wipes his tears, they both do not speak anything, they keep seeing each other, finally they both hug kneeling on the ground.

Rudra comes and tells Nih that Lali and Ved are same. Nih is delighted, has tears of joy, but realises that she humiliated Ved so much. She actually entered Raizada home as bahu for Ved. But when Ved needed her, she did not help her. She cries, repents for illtreating her sister. Rudra says nice to know that Ved is your sister. But today, bcos of Ved, both Dhruv and Viren are released. He says i am worried that Viren got released. Nih says i agree that with Ved winning, we lost. But i do not mind 100 losses for Ved. After all, if Viren comes out, this does not mean that he is left free by us. No, we have already wound so many threads around him. We will definitely get another opportunity to take our revenge. She then says she is now worried what Dhruv will do. Will he accpet Ved or will he accept Arti? She asys i will not get peace of mind till i know this. She cries.

Tomorrow: Kavitha tells Dhruv, Arti and Ved that they have been crushed by cruel fate. She says only one can be a winner, the other has to lose her sinndoor. She then tells Dhruv that he is the one who has to decide this. Dhruv stands in the middle with Arti on one side and Ved on the other. Both Arti and Ved look at Dhruv with tears in their eyes. Dhruv also has tears running down his cheeks.

All in Raizada home are worried asto what will happen now? Kavitha tells all that fate has played a cruel game with Dhruv, Arti and Ved. Uma says now that Ved's identity is proved, she has the first right to Dhruv's love and Sinndoor. She says Kavitha does not know how much Ved has suffered to get back Dhruv. She has seen her crying for Dhruv daily. Rudra and Ant with Viren are also there. As they are talking, Arti comes down the stairs from her room. As she comes down, Dhruv and Ved also come into the house. Arti is shocked to see Ved. Ved and Dhruv enter. Uma hugs her daughter. Kavitha too hugs Ved. Arti see this, Ved keeps seeing Arti. Arti cannot digest this, runs up the stairs, into her room. Dhruv and Ved notice Arti running.

Its night. Viren and Kavitha discuss as to what Dhruv should do now. Kavitha says Dhruv has to go thro' a testing time. He has to choose one. Viren says this is not possible. He says Arti has done lots for Dhruv, we all know it. Ved has also fought testing times to save her sinndoor. So is it not possible for both to be here, share the love of Dhruv as husband and wife? Kavitha is shocked, she says no woman will share her sinndoor with another woman. A woman can share property, money but not sinndoor. She says forget them, even if after so many years of married life, i was asked to share my sinndoor, i will revolt . I will kill myself or kill the other woman. Viren is shocked.

Titli and Bulbul discuss that Dhruv has to decide to keep one wife. Bulbul says some do not get married at all, referring to her, while some have 2 wives. Titli and Bulbul are very happy that a drama is going to unfold asto who is chosen as Dhruv's sinndoor.

Its night. Dhruv is thinking about he telling Arti that he will not step back this time while putting her ring in her finger. Arti thinks about the same thing, sees the Ring in her hand. Ved thinks about her time wilth Dhruv. All the 3 are in different rooms thinking. Dhruv again thinks of his marriage with Ved. Arti thinks of the wind blowing off her diyas while Ved's diyas remain intact. Ved thinks of Dhruv putting sinndoor on Arti's maang. Dhruv thinks of the saath pheras with Arti. Arti thinks of the happy time with Dhruv. Ved thinks of Arti burning her tape and proof.

Next morning, Kavitha, Viren, Ant, Dhruv are there. Kavitha asks Dhruv what decision he has taken. He is unable to answer. Ved comes down the stairs, comes near Dhruv, tells him that she knows that he is in a dilemma, not able to decide, as he does not want to see tears in one person's eyes. She says she has made the decision, she will go out of his life. Arti then comes down the stairs, with a suitcase in hand. She comes to Ved, says i have decided that i am going. Ved says no. Arti says i was his wife, but never did he love me. Ved says you have sacrificed enough, so i will leave. Arti says Dhruv was always yours, i was the one who did not understand this. I should have done this long back. Ved and Arti argue a ot,(many dialogues where both claim that she will go out). Kavitha stops them, says nobody has done any fault. It is fate which has played its part. Now it is for Dhruv to decide who will be his wife. Both Ved and Arti stand in shock. Uma is also there. Dhruv then, turns to Arti, says Arti, when Arti closes his mouth, tells him that he need not have any pressure that he is married to her. She says i know that you both love each other. She then moves to Ved, says i am a lwyer. I know that a second wife has no rights in this society. The marriage is illegal. I had to accept this fact very early, but i am also a human being. Rudra who is ther also hears this. I got lost in my own love and my own desires. I did a mistake. Now i am leaving, she says. She seeks blessings from Kavitha, Viren, Uma. Then she comes to Dhruv who has his head bent. Arti tells him that for us , the only relationship that lasts is friendship, so we will maintain that. Dhruv is in tears, so is Ved. Arti picks her bag, starts to move when Ved stops her and hugs her. Arti then walks to the main door. She thinks about her grihapravesh after marriage. She then goes near the entrance of the house, is avout to step put, when she turns back, sees all of them.

Tomorrow: Yippee!!!! Ved and Dhruv are in the temple. Dhruv puts Sinndoor on Ved's maang. She is in tears, so is Dhruv. With loud music playing in the background, Dhruv puts the mangalsutra on Ved. Ved and Dhruv see each other, are in tears.
