Bajirao Mastani is Ekta's serial Jodha Akbar

Ekta Kapoor wanted to show Bajirao & Mastani's story in a TV serial but SLB's production house requested her not to make it. As an admirer of SLB Ekta changed the script a little and made TV serial version of the highly successful film Jodhaa Akbar.

Bajirao is Akbar

Mastani is Jodha (Akbar's Hindu wife)

Kashi Bai is Ruqaiya (Akbar's first wife who is jealous of Jodha Begum)

Radha Bai is Maham Anga


Don't you think people will start comparing Bajirao Mastani with the film Jodhaa Akbar and the TV serial of the same title?
