OK, don't laugh - maybe my imagination is working overtime. But two things struck me. Saravanan dumped his studies to focus on an illegal activity that involved violence. See where it has brought him? You live by hurting people, and this is what happens. It comes back to bite you. Now he is on the run, he made mistakes after mistakes and he thought he was a macho man able to handle everything that Life throws at him. He should have just stayed in college and finish his studies. Now his future is in jeopardy. When someone falsely accuses you of stealing his money and puts you in jail, would you go back to him and work for him?
Second, Swamy got Saravanan's boss to open the hotel. What is so special about this man that he should be asked to start an auspicious event? How many people he must have beaten or hurt for the sake of his business? But oh no, Swamy and Saravanan thought he was next to Gandhi. They coudlnt invite Vani, under whose generosity they enjoyed for 20 years. She was the one who saved Selvi and Rajesh from jail, Gautham and Point got Sara out of jail and she was trying to help that useless, ungrateful Swamy. Like Rani said in the latest episode, her sister is the only one in the face of the earth that thinks the best for them. Who else? Why doesnt Swamy see that? So they invite a man with dubious dealings, who has no hesitation in resorting to violence for the sake of his business. And they ask him to light the lamp? I felt like slapping Sara when he was grovelling over his "mothalali". 😡 And he has shown his true colours - suspicious, selfish and unscrupulous. Yes, unscrupulous is the right word. He knows that this boy has been a loyal employee and yet he jumps to conclusions when he couldnt find him. He should worry that something had happened to Sara. Well, Sara deserves a "boss" like this.
Grr...Selvi. What a female dog. Sorry, but she really makes me so angry. Not because she is helping Malathy, but her reasons, her stubbornness and her arrogance. I now think that Shenbagam would have suited Rajesh better. She actually tells Malathy that she does not want to live with people who do not understand her feelings. What hypocrisy!! Did you all notice that she kept a sour face when her MIL was all excited and happy but after she left the room, she smiled at Malathy? Come on laaa...bloody ungrateful useless waste of space.
Arumugam. He is handsome, yeah? 😆 But my God I was so irritated and angry...and that second useless female dog Malathy, standing up for him against Sura. Ahmah, avar periya kodivalal, thangammana purushan...OK, spoiler alert. I was told that he will change and help Swamy in the hotel business. As long as he does not become another mokkai Raju from DM (Dengue Mosquito), I am happy.
Kames, you are right...deep down VR's family will stand up for each other. It was good to see that Swamy still had love and loyalty for Gautham at least.
And by the way, to solve your doubt, alcohol has a lot of uses. 😉
