Be ignorant and unhappy about one's daughter. This is unheard of. Kamla is suspicious coz Kalpi took interest and dressed better! She question's Kalpi but doesn't really try hard to know the reason behind. Instead she calls Pakhi and talks to her sweetly and gives her a big responsibility to find reasons about Kalpi behavior. If kamla finds out about RagNa, she will be the first one to oppose or there is no need for it Pakhi is there to ruin everything for Kalpi.

Kalpi is the person Kamlaa is using to pursue the dreams she could never achieve - in the midst of the ek mutthi aasmaan obsession she's forgotten to provide her with the love & emotional support her daughter needs. I will never forget the swimming incident - it was disturbing & the pain of young Kalpi was awful - especially when she said you know I can't swim and you still saved Paakhi - heartbreaking But thankfully her baba saved her but even her baba is not enough this girl needs a mothers love & I'm hoping Gauri is that person! Let Kamlaa feel how Kalpi feels - mother India Kamlaa irritates the hell out of me
