Part 53--- last part:
Life is beautiful journey for the khans, and asad enjoyed the most. He looked after with utmost care. She was 7 month pregnant and they are arranged a function. The whole khan family were present, and he called Aisha Bii too to bless his family. She was so happy to see the couple and blessed them. She gave one more thread and asked asad to tie on zoya to protect fhis family from evil, he did the same. Then zoya spoke something to Aisha bii, then she smilingly gave her 2 thread, which she tied on asya and asad.
After the function was over, the next day was zoya birthday. The morning after prayers in the mazar, asad took the whole family for a surprise. Zoya was stunned looking at that. Zoya knows that asad has already renovated and built a new building for the orphanage where she took shelter in the past. Later she came to know, the same place also give her shelter as a kid too. But today she was surprised to see a school built there in the name of zainab, and will be fully run by the asya trust which he has formed. The school is for the orphan kids and also for kids from underprivileged family. The education will be top class and totally free too.
Zoya was overwhelmed by asad actions, and sidehugged him and placed her head in his shoulder as asya cut the red ribbon. She was so proud of him for his actions. She knows this is the best bday gift from him, helping those kids for better life.. means a lot to her. She had someone like zeenat to look after her, not everybody gets lucky like her.. but asad step today made the difference. She was so happy that they could help atleast a few children and were sure that these kid follow the same step in the future. Then they came home and cut the cake asad has ordered, it was just a small family function with just them with anze and gaffur and ayra there.
Asad was with zoya in everystep, every morning the couple went for a walk in the cool breeze around the lake. Zoya shared her thoughts and ideas with asad, and sometime her longing for him in the past. Sometime zoya will stay back at home, and invariantly asad will turn up home for lunch, and stay the rest of the day working from home. For asya the growing of her ammi tummy was mystery. She questioned asad about that. And showed her the child growth chart and explained to her what is happening with her baby bro. ofcourse more than zoya, afzal was treated with kisses and hugs from his sister and his abbu.
Since they say kids can hear from the womb, asad played some mild music and some devotional sufi songs for zoya to hear. Zoya made sure asad sang songs for his son, so he will have interest in music in the future. Asad sang some beautifull songs of kishore kumar as a lullaby fro them, and sometime zoya and asya will fal sleep listening to them. It was start of the eight month, and zoya had trouble with her sleeping postion. She lost the comfort of sleeping with her front on the bed, now it is always sideways or facing the top. She had problem with her back aching due to that. Asad always cushioned her back with his front and he gave message to the back with oil and gave her a hot water bath everyday to relax her muscules . zoya loved this routine of asad so much, even though she will so sleepy sometime, she liked this night ritual of theirs. She just has to be doll there, and asad will look after her with delicate care. And sometimes zoya will pull asad with her inside the shower and then it will be passion overload.
Asad was suppose to attend a meeting with MR.Mehta, in banglore. He was so impressed by their work, he wanted asad to design and construtct the next venture of his in banglore. He is bulding a shopping mall in the center of the city. For that asad has to go there to look at the site and also to know about the resource and restriction of the place before he works on the plan. Mr.Mehta was so impressed with them he wanted to sign a contract with asad even without looking at the model. Though asad wanted too but he was not ready to leave zoya even for a second and he wanted to postpone the whole meeting, but zoya didn't let him do that.it was matter of just one night, so she convinced him to go and be in touch with phone.
Asad tookoff in the morning flight , and he called her as soon as he landed in the place. Though he wasnot there, but he made sure zoya went for the walk with anwar, andmade sure zeenat and dilshad follow the food intake of her. He called once in an hour to let her know the progress there and alsoexplanined to her the place and zoya gave her inputs too. The whole day was spent on the site and he will have a meeting tomorrow afternoon with Mehta and by the night he will be back to Bhopal. He retired to his room in the night. As he had a shower and almost changed into his kurta, he saw skpye invitation from zoya. He sat in the bed and connected to his pregnant wife staring at him through the lap.
Both of them looked at each other for few seconds and smiled at their thoughts, they were missing eacj other. Both their caressed the computer screen and touched through it.
A: r u ok. Did u had ur food and ur execise..
Z: yes jahapanah.. she smiled.. did u had ur food..
A: yeah I had..
A: how is asya and afzal..
Z: asya is sleeping.. afzal is missing her abbu.. and kicking her ammi.. bcox he want to listen to his dad..
A: I will be there by this tomorrow..ok..
Z: hmm..
Zoya was just staring at asad through the screen...
A: zoya... he called her..
Z: hmm..
A: what wrong..
Z: I want you.. she said looking at his broad shoulders and six packs...and well toned muscules...
A: zoya... tomorrow.. pakka..ok..
Z: I want u now.. she said. Adamant
Looking at the eyes.. he felt so alive.. and could nothing about it..
A: zoya.. please... he whispered...
Z: tomorrow.. pakka.. right..
A: yeah I promise.. now go to sleep now.
Z: ok..
A: put the pillow in the back.. and face the lap..
Zoya smiled at this, and her thoughts wandered to the past.. how he kept himself awake the whole night just to see her sleep..
Z: asad.. u can also sleep..but without the shirt.. she winked.
Both of them just stared at each other. In the llap, and atlast asad asked zoya to sleep..
Z: u too sleep, ur will not attend the meeting in the morning.. she smiled. And closed her eye.. after sometime zoya slept and asad after watching her asleep , he went into slumber.
The morning asad wished her good morning, and reminded her daily activities and logged off after bowing her a kiss ..
They day went fast, and asad had a long meeting with his client for 3 hours and by 5 he went to the airport, and conveyed thing to zoya over phone. As the flight was a connecting flight from Chennai, it got delayed and by the time he reached Bhopal it was 11 pm, and he hurried his way towards his love.only to find the bed empty and asya sleeping in the green lounge. He went and kissed her on the forehead and covered her blanket properly, and went inside the bathroom . zoya was not there too quickly he changed and came out to look for her .
He saw her sitting in the bench, as he went close to her and hugged her from the back.. and caressed the stomach with one hand and her cheek with other hand.. only to find it moist...
A: zoya why r u crying... he asked and took her in his arms..
Z: don't act Mr.Khan... she pulled herself from him and sat aside..
A: what wrong .. sweety..
Z: u don't love me.. anymore... she simply stated.. for his shock..
A: zoya.. I love you and u know that..
Z: u promised u will early ..but u didn't even call me in the last 5 hrs.. she complained..
A: No. zoya the meeting was long, then the flight was delayed... i.e I am late...
Z: u mean to say.. ur business matter more to u then me... is it.. she counter argued..
A: no.. I didn't want to go.. but u only sent me .. remember.. he asked her frustrated...
Z: yeah I asked u to go... Why did u go.. if u loved me more.. you should have stayed back with me... but u went happily.. bcoz u love ur business more...
Asad saw how zoya twisted the words.. and he decided it is due to hormones.. and he tried to play along..
A: I am sorry sweety.. it is my mistake.. I promise I wont.. go anywhere till u delivery..
Z: u will leave me after deilivey she asked...
A: no.. I will be with u always..
Z: hmm... but u don't like me.. fat do you..
A:I always like u...
Z: no u r lying.. i.e why u came late to avoid me..
A: zoya.. the flight got delayed dear... trust me sweety...
Z: really... I don't want to loose u asad.. she whispered..
Asad just hugged her and said I am sorry... and he just repeated, not just for the present but also fro the past. He could understand that the present was due to her hormonal mood swings.. he just couldn't believe that she needed him just like that in the past too.. but he was not there.. to take her in his arms.. and cajole her.. and caress her. Zoya leaned on his shoulder in the hug, and suddenly she pulled asad hands and placed on her tummy to feel the kicks. Asad just caressed them and whispered to his son.. . and she smiled. After sometime zoya slept in his arms due to tiredness and asad carried her inside and placed her in the bed. He went and prepared the bath tub of hot water and came woke her up for the bath. She happily obliged, provided he joined in there with her. Asad did join and showered her with his love.
As the days passed zoya stopped going to office, and asad starting working from home. Her night were a bit troublesome for her as her son used to play football inside her stomach. Asad sat with head on the headboard with zoya between his legs, and messaged her back and she leaned on his six packs.. and slept. Asad is not allowed to sleep with kurta anymore.. zoya needed the six packs and his scent to sleep.
After nine months over, asad was walking on the edge more then zoya.. as the due date was close. Zoya felt a slight pain in her stomach, but she let it go.. but slowly she felt the pain increasing, and she could feel some movement inside her stomach too. She felt she is bleeding. She called asad who was sitting in the hall feeding asya. When asad saw zoya face, he scooped her in his arms. And put her in the car. The whole khan family reached the hospital. Asad accompanied zoya inside the delivery room, she held his hands, and he assured her with lovely words.
Due to her push, she slowly dilated. Beginning the pain was ok, but during the last stage of delivery it was painfull for her.. she couldn't take it anymore. She saw asad standing nex t to her with soft words..
Z: Mr.Khan.. stay away from ...ME.. she screamed..
A: it is almost over... few more.. minutes..
Zoya held him by his collar.. and said..
Next time if u want kid.. u should carry the baby... She screamed.
Asad was just shocked and was happy that she didn't strike him.. and one final push.. zoya heard the cry of a kid and was so exhausted.. and looked down.. doctor called asad to do the honor, and he delicately cut the umbilical cord, and looking at his screaming son.. with love pride and tear in his eyes. The nurse took the baby and asad went to zoya and kissed her on her forehead.. and whispered.. thank u.. and she smiled and snuggled closer.
Zoya was shifted to normal ward, After few minutes the nurse brought the kid to the proud parents.. and asad and zoya slowly held their son in their hand and fed him , though at first the kid didn't know, then slowly he sucked his ammi breast, and filled his little stomach, and went back to sleep in her arms.. the door bust open and asya came running inside. Asad took asya in his arms and she looked at the kid sleeping in his mom arms.. and smiled.. and she slowly whispered..
