Salman Khan launched Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle in his debut international production, Dr Cabbie' and Isabelle is playing a side role in the film. She stars opposite Indian-American actor Kunal Nayyar of The Big Bang Theory'. Vinay Virmani of David' and Speedy Singhs' is playing the lead role and he is cast opposite American actress Adrianne Palicki.

The trailer promises loads of fun. It shows Vinay, a doctor from India landed in America in search of a suitable job but unfortunately, his dream to make it big in aboard failed miserably as he was rejected in every hospitals and finally he turned a cabbie doctor and the rest is a history.
Directed by Jean-Francois Poulliot, the film stars Vinay Virmani, Lilette Dubey, Adrianne Palicki, Kunal Nayyar, Mircea Monroe, Rizwan Manji, Chris Diamantopoulos and, of course, Isabelle. The movie is produced by FirstTake Entertainment and Caramel Films.
'Since DR. CABBIE is designed to reach out to a wider segment of audience, the narrative of this Jean-Francois Poulliot directed film doesn't take an overtly serious route. In fact, the teaser is a 'smile through' affair and Salman is quite glad with what he sees. He is backing the film to the fullest and is making sure that next few months are well utilized to pitch it well to the target audience,' the source adds.
'The film features Vinay Virmani in the title role of DR. CABBIE who had earlier gained critical acclaim and was appreciated for Bejoy Nambiar's DAVID. He was also immensely appreciated in Indo-Canadian film BREAKAWAY, which was the highest grossing film in Canada in 2011. DR. CABBIE is about this youngster from India who gains a medical degree from India, only to find himself riding a cab in Canada. It is light hearted film with dramatic elements to it as well,' informs a source.
