Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan
King Khan and Sallu's camaraderie was witnessed at film award functions until Salman came to visit then girlfriend Aishwarya Rai on the sets of SRK's home production Chalte Chalte. He created such a ruckus that he was asked to leave and Ash was replaced as the lead actress of the movie. SRK, who tried to mediate between the two, later publicly apologised for 'interfering' in the affairs of his friends. But the two Khans remained aloof and Ash refused to work with SRK after that. It is believed that the Karan-Arjun of Bollywood wept, kissed and made up at choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan's wedding in 2004. However, some discomfort was still evident between them. Finally, all rumours were set to rest when Salman appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 with Katrina Kaif in tow recently.
Salman Khan-Viveik Oberoi
And those who are caught between the highroads of friendship and enmity find a solution in… being cordial! Arbaaz Khan and Viveik Oberoi decided to move on with the latter taking the initiative. After the mudslinging session in public in 2003 over Salman's "unacceptable behaviour", Viveik visited Salman's mother in hospital when Salman was in jail. Now, Arbaaz and Viveik are working together in Fool and Final. Arbaaz was quoted saying, "We are definitely not the best of friends, but I am anticipating a healthy and cordial relationship on the sets."
Aishwarya Rai-Rani Mukerji
Apparently, the Chalte Chalte brawl affected one more dosti — that of Aishwarya and Rani. The then icemaiden Ash had only Rani to call a friend in the film industry. But things soured when Rani stepped into Ash's role in Chalte Chalte, and failed to ask Ash if it was okay. Rani got the ultimate snub when she failed to make it to the list of people invited to the Abhiash wedding despite being a good friend of Abhishek Bachchan. But now, Rani claims to be happy for Abhishek and even sent her best wishes to the newlyweds after their wedding.
Amitabh Bachchan-Shah Rukh Khan
The two superstars were like one big family, with Jaya Bachchan calling Shah Rukh her son. But in 2004 at an award ceremony, Amitabh was given a seat in the 14th row, which was not acceptable to his dear friend Amar Singh. Shah Rukh referred to Singh's intervention as goondagardi, and the bonding soured. Ever since SRK stepped into Big B's shoes (doing Don and KBC), the sparring came out in the open. Amitabh even spoke tersely about SRK in public. King Khan was also absent at the Abhiash wedding.
