Ronit Roy hurts his leg (again!) while shooting for his death sequence in Kayamath

Ronit Roy's death sequence, worth Rs 15 lakh, in Kayamath turned out to be a brilliant shot. But, the actor was badly hurt while shooting the action-packed sequence. The blast scene was shot in such a way that the window pane of the car shattered and a big piece of glass hurt Ronit's leg. Also Ronit was required to fall out of the burnt car on being injured. However, the actor continued shooting.

This isn't the first time that Ronit hurt his leg. He had injured his leg recently while shooting for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi's special episode. He had also ruptured a leg muscle a year back. As the actor had injured his leg several times, he was undergoing physiotherapy for a long time.

The director of the show, Palat Jani, is all praise for Ronit's brave front.

"Ronit's leg was hurt badly as a big glass piece went inside his leg when he was struggling to come out of the car. His leg was bleeding but he quietly continued shooting for the scene. I know he was in great pain and was bleeding profusely but he refused to waste any time. He already has had a major leg injury in the past and to add to that he again got injured while filming this risky scene. He does not like sympathy for such things. It was a superb sequence and Ronit is a professional actor," says Palat.

Ronit says, "Yes. I hurt my leg again while shooting. But, the entire sequence went off nicely and we shot the entire day for it. The glass pieces hurt my leg and I was bleeding. I applied some medicine and carried on with the important scene."

I am so sad he hurt himself again ..
I have my left leg perpetually injured I know what it must be like - well kudos to him for not complaining !!!

Way to go RR !!!

I am waiting for this Kayamath seq. with bated breath!

That sounds bad Hope the injury was minimal and he is fit as a fiddle. Producers and stunt coordinators need to take more care when doing/designing stunts. Anyway hope he is doing really well.
