Good if this divorce will happen. I request the CV's to then concentrate on Astha as a character. Let it be shown that as a woman of today she makes a living and a position for herself in the society. Astha was engaged with old age homes. Bring that back.It's very rare these days for shows to concentrate on individual characters. A couple is a nice thing. But before couple these individuals were planning a life. After marriage on Indian television that gets totally ignored. We got to see Astha as Astha Agnihotri for much longer than we saw Astha Kirloskar. A divorce will bring about some significant thought process changes in a person. Won't that be an interesting point to explore? Astha had jaded views on love and life. Going through with the divorce is bound to put some dent to that. Won't it be nice to see Astha's contemplation. Also Shlok is bound to be affected. Without Astha's constant presence , the void created will force him to think and take stock of his life. Personally all that will be nice to watch. Astha as a character and Shlok as a character will be nice to watch.
@ All who don't want the divorce
I understand your thinking that a divorce means severing of the one thread between AsHlok. But think about it. Astha is an Agnihotri bahu. Her name was time and again connected with them in the media. So even if she starts a separate life , she will never truly be separated from them. Suppose she gets back to helping old people and this gets media coverage. Obviously her connection with Agnihotri ' s will come up. Then again NA holds so many media meetings , won't the media still raise questions about his divorced son?
All in all Astha will never truly be away from A's. Besides even if divorce happens she is still in love with Shlok and knows Aditi is out to harm him. Do you think she will sit back? The Astha we know won't.
So chill guys , the divorce is a good way to give some character development to Astha and new angle to AsHlok. Maybe we will get a genuine wedding next as well. I kinda feel that's the plan
