They say that eyes are the windows of the soul and what you cannot express in words and actions, shows through the eyes your deepest feelings and inner emotions.
Astha's eyes are her windows to her soul, as shlok once said, that her eyes showed how much she loved him and couldn't hide.shlok also said her eyes spoke the truth and once also hinted not to let her feelings show in her face (warning her that anybody could take advantsge of her),maybe because he couldn't control himself with her even in his hate and fell in love with her or he feels guilty because he used that very love she had for him to bind her to him for life falsely. When astha applied for divorce, Shlok got scared that the judge would grant her divorce from him just by seeing her pityful face and that's why he bound her to him by getting her to sign the bond.
Whenever shlok doubted astha all he had to do was look into her eyes to find the truth. So that's why shlok reads astha like a book and knows what is going on in her mind and always did according to what her eyes told him more than words, even when she wouldn't say the words 'I LOVE U' he told her her eyes,face told him the truth of how much she loved him and announced their marriage.
If shlok could read her love than he must have read the hurt she must have felt at his act of betrayal and hate and maybe that's why he was angry with her as she made him feel guilty and helpless to do what he really wanted to do, to hate her for life but couldn't, and instead fell in love with her and had to protect and secure her.
Now shlok himself is either in a confusion about his feelings for astha or knows his feelings for sure butis hiding them behind his hard demeanour and not letting anyone know and is hiding them from himself as a protection from rejection and betrayal. Maybe even the mystery surrounding him and his family secrets.

But with the divorce hanging above him like a sword and attempts on astha's life where he had to be the saviour and where he couldn't hide his feelings of love for her anymore and when astha started seeing his care, concern and finally love in his actions if not words,
When shlok refused to divorce her even after baba made him sign the divorce papers,when he had said it was for baba 's sake he married her.
When he rescud her from fire and was willing to die with her instead of divorcing her was when astha realised and saw the love in his eyes ,and which made her question him about the love she saw in his eyes for her, the same love that she saw before too in his eyes which made her surrender herself to him by defeating herself.That was the reason that adtha didn't oppose the verdict of six months the court gave her to save her marriage.She decided to find out why shlok was hiding his love from her with hate.
Finally she through hardships and sufference, she has become successful in exposing the feelings and love that shlok has for her and the reasons behind his acts of hate(his own past betrayal in love and trust). She by putting herself in situations or by circumstances has finally exposed shlok to her and himself too where shlok is finally accepting his feelings and love for astha but not willing for astha or othets to know but is being unsuccessful in his attempts to hide anymore even though he still can't bring himself to say the words.
When shlok finally realised that he may lose astha to divorce even though she made it clear how much she loves him, shlok's fear, and anger and helplessness are showing through his eyes now where he is questioning astha, about her love,her willingness to go ahead with the divorce,. and how she can leave him after declaring her love for him.
Shlok's eyes are now pleading with astha not to leave him, his eyes are showing his anger that she can leave him,his eyes are now helplessly searching for her in the fear he might not see her if she goes.Shlok even cancelled all his others business matters to now be with astha. He is fuming that she looks happy to go even though she sometimes looks sad to go.
Today when Astha asked shlok to stay with her to talk, 'heart to heart'as she will be going in two days, so that he may say the words that his heart feels about loving her, as she does know he loves her which shows in his eyes, shlok symbolically closes the door to their bedroom, indicating to her, when astha asked why shlok was closing the door when he could say it in words, that to tell her his inner heart feelings he needed to be more closer to her, as in a husband and wife relationship, which is the most intimate relationship than any other relationships and based not only physically but with trust and oneness for life.
In a way shlok was indirectly asking astha not to go but be with him as his wife and lover and lifepartner, which was his wish from the soul through his heart, which his eyes were revealing and words are slowly following the actions.
Astha seems to have found what she came to find,shlok's love, but the problems between shlok and her might be solved but the problems around them like aditi, NA, jyoti, etc. will keep on testing their love again and again only their trust in each other will save them even if love is not enough.
