Great post and as someone rightly said far more accurate than what is being potrayed on screen.

Maybe the makers should have shown a glimpse into thier formative years , a couple of episodes perhaps (with the excellent child actors) which would have helped .

Thank you, Latha. You are right...if I recall right, they had used just maybe two episodes to show the grown up Rudr and Paro...a couple more could have established their characters and thought processes a bit more. But that doll scene was really rich and deep...where a little Paro gives her doll to the sad Rudr. In my mind that scene did more to tell us about them then perhaps all the other scenes combined,

Beautiful summary of PaRud character sketch. Loved reading it.
Rudra, the hunted and Paro his anchor, well said. I love PaRud and reading such posts make me fall in love with them all over again.
