AWKWARD COFFEE
Finally kiya patched up with her mom. I am so happy as she looked so happy and relaxed after days . As i was busy thinking all this my cell phone ringed . I know must be Kiya . So i quickly went and lifted my cell but screen displayed unknown no. I picked up call..
Kd: who's dis ??
After hearing the name of person ob other line i was shocked as hell . I was literally sweating and my mobile nearly slipped from my hand but i managed to catch it ..
Kd: hello mom i mean sorry aunty i mean mam . Yes ..
Yes it was kiya's mother and my future mother in law . My stupid tongue was practising to call her mom . How idiot i am ?
Kiya's mom: kd i want to meet you tomorrow . So can u come at my house at 4 in noon for coffee ???
What me at kiya's house . Its not that i hadn't been at her house but this would be the first time when i will enter her house in humanly way ..
Kd: yes aunty sure i will be there. Its all my pleasure and thanks for inviting me . I will,surely come and ..
kiya's mom: okay okay see you than ..
With that she cut the call. God Kd what were u doing blabbering in front of your girlfriend's mom . I think i should call kiya right . I was about to call her when she called . I picked up the call and before i could say anything ..
kiya: wow kd i so excited . U know mom ne samne se kaha that she wants to meet u . I am so excited yipee. Kd what happened??
what happened?? And why is kiya so excited doesn't she know her mom hates me.
kd: kiya main nervous hun . I mean u know what i mean
kiya: kd calm down . I trust u, u will impress my mom ..okay i luv u ..

NEXT DAY
Today is my dooms day . I chose to wear blackk shirt and blue denims. I fixed my hair and was ready to go . I bought some flowers on the way . Finally i reached here . I messaged Kiya that i reached and asked her to open the door .. I rang the doorbell and thankfully kiya opened the door with her cute smile. But suddenly her smile vanished and she started frowning ..
kd: what??
kiya: salesman banke kyun aaye ho ?
Kd: matlab ..
Kiya: i mean your shirt and hair ..
Saying this she messed my neatly combed hair and opened the first two button of my shirt . What is she doing??
Kd: kiya kya kar rahi hoon
kiya: kd tum interview dene nahi aaye ho comeon in
I went inside and saw her mom and sister sitting on the couch . The look on their face indicated that now they are ready for hunting and i am poor prey ..
Anya: oh kd take a seat ..
Kd: yes di .
i sat on the most comfortable couch in the most uncomfortable situation . I was so nervous . Kiya sat besides me and gave me assuring smile .
Kiya's mom: so kd what are your future plans??
Kd: actually i am planning to so MBA and i have been offfered internship too so i will do that too ...
Anya: perfectly boring boyfriend .. Right kiya
Kiya: oh chuck it anya di . You know what Kd is not at all boring he is gonna sing in fest . Right kd
What ? Kiya me sing ?? I am not a singer bf and you are boosting about my singing talent wow kiya brilliant job ..
Kd: yes yes i am trying to sing ..
and than i gave "u r so gonna pay for this" look to kiya while she just winked at me ..
Kiya's mom: okay than we will have coffee lets go there. We settled at dinning table . Me and kiya were sitting opposite to eachother . Kiya's mom ordered 4 black coffee to maid and in about 5 min he brought coffee .
Kiya's mom: kd have coffee ??
Coffee u call this crap coffee i mean no milk, just two tsp sugar. That's it . How could kiya like this ?? Yaa like mother like daughter . I somehow acted as if its the best coffee in the world and started drinking it . Suddenly i felt something on my legs . Yes it was kiya's feet rubbing across my leg . She gave me naughty smile . Kiya is this time to play footsie footsie with your bf . I chocked on my coffee and started coughing . Kiya stood up from her chair came to my side and started rubbing my back. She offered me water and i drank that . Finally i was settled ..
kiya's mom: r u okay? Wat happened suddenly??
what happened ?? Ask this question to your daughter who was cause of this whole fiasco ..
Kd: i am fine aunty ..
After that she again asked some questions regarding my career and future plans . I calmly answered all questions but seeing kiya's reaction i found out she was not at all pleased with her mom's question . She was about to interrupt but i held her hand under the table and singnalled her that it was okay ..
kiya's mom: kd u know kiya loves going to shopping and do u know what's her shopping bill ? Can u afford my daughter and her lifestyle ?? Do u want her to stay at that chawl with u??
kiya: mom plzz its enough u cant just ...
I interrupted
kd: kiya its okay she is your mom ,its her right. Aunty don't worry i know kiya is a princess and one day she called me her prince charming and i will prove myself that i am worthy of this princess. I promise that i will build palace for her .. And i will achieve all this for Kiya coz i truly love your daughter more than myself.
After that kiya's mom seemed convince that i am good enough for kiya and than the conversation was somewhat smooth ..
After about 2 hours i took their leave
Kiya came at door and gave a peck on my cheeks and said : thank u i luv u
kd: i luv u too
With that i left from there
