Part 27

Dadima was sitting in a state of shock as she looked at the close door of geet's room and then at maan who just laughed seeing her face. "yeh kya tha... kaun tha maaan" she asked in a state of shock. "dadima bas dekhte jaiye abi to shuruat hai... is geetakshi ke peeche apni geet ko dhundne aya hu aur use leke hi jaunga!!"

It was another hectic day in office and for the staff it was nothing less than hell. Due to some weird reason, there boss was in very bad mood and almost every other person was getting scolded even for minor faults. They just wanted the day to end soon but every passing minute was making it all worse.

That day even maan had some video conference and thus he was not in office too. Geet looked at the presentation that was prepared by his one of the most dedicated staff and would have almost deleted it if she was not such short of time. It was the first official presentation which the handas have to give to khurana's to get their opinion on their plans of the project and the meeting had to start in an hour and here she doesn't even have a proper presentation in hand.

"sharma ji is that what you call a presentation. You expect me to show that to mr khurana.. are you out of your mind??"

"but maam I did what you asked me to do" he said hesitantly.

Geet looked at him in anger and glared at him, "you mean to say I don't know how to work and am an incapable employer!!!" she chided.

Mr sharma just looked down knowing it all will go against him if he said a word more, his employer seemed too much angry at the moment and her this behaviour is what he cant tolerate.

Seeing him silent, geet calmed down and realized she had overstretched it. Sharma ji had been working since her father's time and he had been one of the most efficient and dedicated employee over the time. Even she had herself learned half of the business working under his guidance and had respected him the most.

She saw Mr Sharma taking the file and going back and felt guilty and stopped him... "ahh sharma ji am sorry for the way I talked. I didn't meant that and the presentation is ok, I will make the rest of the suitable changes... you leave the file here!!" mr sharma saw the genuine guilt and smiled and kept the file on her desk and left.

She sat down on the chair with a thud and leaned her head back on the head rest. God when will this day end and she will be back to her room!!! But then knowing this meeting is hell important she moved back to her work and change the presentation.

Maan settled himself along with his staff in the conference room. He looked at her as she went to the other corner of the room and took the place of presenter. She had that charming smile of hers on her face as she greeted everyone but he felt her down today. She pretended to be ok but he could see some hesitance... some restlessness in her.

She gave him a smile as she felt him staring at her, but he looked lost... lost in her as if he was trying to see through her!!! As if he could read her. She diverted her gaze and looked at everywhere other than him... trying to ignore him!! She started the presentation and started explaining her vision of the model.

Maan followed her every movement as se she spoke... her eyes that moved from projector to client and then back to projector... those big round orbs that looked at everyone except him as she explained and then when she thought he wasn't looking at her, she would glance at him through corner of her and then would immediately look away on getting caught!!

Her hair which were tied in a braid and that single strand that was left loose to tease her cheek!!! Haye... His hand itched to touch that hair and put it behind her ear... Touching her cheeks in way!!! And then he noticed her hand which would move to her back in every few minute and rub her back. He twitched his brows at that... and then his eyes flicked to her lips... which she would bite in every few second and that's when he realized what the real matter is.

She was sitting in her cabin resting her head on the table when she heard a knock on the door. She looked at the peon who came with a juice and a tablet and there was a letter too. She excused him and opened the letter...

Subah se dard hai par kuch liya nhi hoga na tumne...

She reread the letter again.. not able to believe her eyes!!! What does he mean... does that means that he knew that she was having... having her periods!!!! Gosh she couldn't believe this... its so so embarrassing!!! Hell she don't know how will she face him now, she just hid back her face on the desk wanting to bury herself.. but then how the hell he knew that.

She was busy in her blushy self, when her cell phone buzzed!!! It was a text from maan.

I know much more than just this...

But its not time to discuss this, first have your medicine and rest!!!

I even have the prescription if you don't trust me with the medicine.

She immediately looked outside her cabin through the window to see if he was anywhere around, but she didn't saw him anywhere near. she reread the text and then the last line.. umm ok yeah it was about medication and she doesn't take any in these days fir chahe kitta bi painful ho!!! But then he wanted her to take and the trust line keep hitting her back!! She don't want to trust him but then a part of her just overtook and she took the medicine. Why this blind trust... she couldn't understand. Her cell again beeped, this time with ":D" and an instant smile came on her face as well.

Maan just sighed in relief as he saw her closing her eyes and taking a nap... she took that tablet just because he said... without doubting him once that itself was a big thing for him. He knew his get trusted him, blindly but why this geetakshi trusted him was a thing he couldn't understand.

He went to his cabin and thought back about the day when she got her menstruation cycle in delhi.. god only he knew what day it was. It was a Sunday and thus morning itself started lazily. When after his workout he went in her room to make miss sleepy head, he found her curled up in bed all in tears. Shit, that scene just scared him so much at the moment only he knew.

He rushed to her and tried to touch her but she moved back crying. "geet kya hua, why are you crying bachha!!" he said trying to take her in his arms and she immediately came hugging him hiding her face in his chest. "shhh, don't cry.. bolo kya hua" he said rubbing her back while she sobbed continuously and softly said, "dard ho ri pet me.."

He got worried and tried to part her from him but she refused and said, "chot bi lagi.. khun bi aa rha!!!" he got worried hearing about some injury and forcefully parted her to look at her and checked her arms and that's when he noticed her blood soak lowers she was wearing. For once he got worried thinking she really injured herself with something, there was just way too much blood, some even came on his cloth.

"shhh accha let me see.. lay down here first" he said with a soft voice and was about to lay her on bed when he realized that the bed sheets were soaked too in blood. All this just scared him out and his hand shivered as he made her stand on her feet while she continued crying, wiping her tears with her palms.

He pulled her lowers and saw her panties and thigh were covered in blood. A part of his brain got alert as he didn't noticed any clot in that area and that stomach pain just was itself a proof. He felt his head turning heavy as world started revolve around him. This was something he knew he cant deal with.. it was way too gross for him.

"ahh dard ho rhi" he heard her cry in pain, the woman don't even knew what she is facing got knows how he will take care of her in this condition. Ok, first thing first, he thought and pushed her in shower so that atleast this blood wipes off, while he went and dialled the lady doctor whose number was given to him for consultation.

He explained her the situation and also told that geet wont let any other nurse near her. Doctor advised him to make her wear some tight legging with a thick cotton pad near her core, and change her dress in every few hours, if he cant manage whispers. She even advised him to let her sit in a single place for atleast first two days and suggest some painkillers to give her relief.

He went and ordered maid to change the sheets and placed some extra mattress for her too and a plastic sheet as well, while a nurse who was kept handy in advance helped with clothes. Only he knew how embarrassed he was to ask the females for help in all these but he just hoped these ladies have this much decency to not gossip about the vulnerable condition of the girl who don't even understand what is happening with her.

After they all left, he helped her dressup and tried to explain her what is going through her but she didn't understood a single ting, instead all this started to scare her up and he had to actually calm her down and take care of her. Only he knew how tired he was in these two days, when all his time was spent in making sure she is ok, she eats well or take liquid and medication on time.
