You cant tone down Sam's character because it's reality. If you don't want to see reality, then what can I say. I know it doesn't happen in my family or maybe yours. But I actually know people where it happens. My friend's cousin had this same issue in Canada. I like the character because I know there actually people like this. I don't watch most Indian shows because there fake, but this one is good. To be honest, most people in India still have these thoughts over women. That women are just a piece of furniture. If writers tone Sam's character down, then how are they going to send a message to people. Specially to those who deal with this, that he'll just tone down?
