Chapter 30:

Rey somehow managed to grab a taxi. When the taxi driver stopped the taxi in front of them. He looked at them weirdly. Rey just rolled his eyes, internally. He opened the door for Taani, and helped her to settle on back sit, then he sat beside her. He told the driver to take them back to hotel. Driver nodded and pressed the accelerator to speed up the car.

Rey looked down at Taani, who was tightening his blazer around her, rubbing her palms together to feel some warmness on her cold, wet skin. Rey put his hand around her shoulder and pulled her near to him. He rubbed her arms gently. Taani glanced up at him.

" Feeling better?" Rey asked, Taani weakly nodded. Rey smiled down at her. Her hair were wet, drops were dripping from those tendrils which were framing her face. He tucked a strand behind her ear softly. Her cheeks were slightly red. Tip of her tiny nose was slightly red due to sneezing. His blazer was set on her shoulder, it was too much large for her tiny body. But yet, he found her adorable.

Taani bite her lips and looked down. Her heart warmed when she caught his eyes studying her. She sighted as heat radiated from his body comforted her.

The car stopped in front of the hotel. Rey helped Taani to come out of the car. Manager of hotel came out, He gave Rey an umbrella and told them to follow. Rey had already informed manager that they need help to get in hotel as there was a possibility that media had kept an eye on hotel also. They both followed manager.

Manager successfully led them to their floor. He nodded at Rey and gave two swipe room cards and left. Taani was quite all the way around. Rey turned to Taani and smiled faintly. Taani returned the smile. But, soon a sneeze came from her. She shook her head and cursed under her breath. Taani's cheeks were flaming up. Sneezing in front of him, was something she didn't want to. And, sneezes after their kiss. Her cheeks flamed more with an adorable pink color as she remembered the most beautiful moment.

Rey removed his gaze from Taani and swiped the card, opened the room of her room. They both entered the room, Rey softly clicked the door closed. Taani nervously watched him. Room was dark, but moon and the slight lightening due to rain was flashing sort of light in the room.

Taani gulped as she stood where she was. Rain was pouring down with a slow pace. She could only hear the tapping of the water droplets and the thudding of her heart. She looked up and gasped. Rey was standing just mere inches from her.

Without wasting a minute, he pulled her towards him in a tight hug. Taani closed her eyes and put her chin on his shoulder. Her hands were on his back, comforting him. Rey buried his face in the crook of her neck. Her damp, freezing body was hugged by his wet but yet warm body. Rey's arms were tightly around her waist.

He exhaled a deep breath and sighted. Rey just wanted to spend his life like this. He wouldn't mind it at all. "I love you, Taani." He murmured while his lips on her neck. Taani shivered in his arms and sighted. "I love you too, Rey." She responded and tightened her grip on his back. They hugged each other like eternity. Both didn't want to break the hug. But, they had to. Rey pulled back from the hug and cupped Taani's cheek. His thumb caressing her cheek gently. "Go and change. You will catch fever." He said. Taani nodded. She was turned. She knew, his eyes were on her. On her every step. She stopped in middle and looked down. "Rey..." She whispered. She removed his warm blazer from her body and turned to find him looking at her only.

He heard her calling him in her soft voice. He watched as she removed his blazer and turned. His breath caught in it's way. The wet white transparent material of saree clung on her body. Her flat stomach was visible. He could see her soft and milky skin through the soft material. The moon light shading from the window on her , she looked like a goddess who just walked from the heaven. Her soft tendrils of hair were damp, but framed her delicate features of her face perfectly. Rey quickly turned around. This was a pure sweet torture for him.

"Umm.. You put it on sofa and go. Go and Change." Rey said. He couldn't swipe the image from his mind. He just wanted to turn and see her again. "Okay.." Taani muttered under her breath. She looked down at her attire, her cheeks flamed up. She bite her lips and silently walked to sofa and placed his blazer on it. From the corner of her eye, Rey was patiently standing there. But, didn't face her. She gulped and scurried away towards bathroom.

As soon as he heard the click of the door, he relaxed and exhaled a breath of relief. He was on the verge to walk towards her and take her in his arms. He ran a hand through his damp hair. He looked around and found a switch and turn on the light.

The front tires of the plane screeched on the concrete runway. The plane slow downed and finally came to a hault. The staff started arranging everything. The step ladder, everything. Soon, the door of the plane opened.

A man in blue shirt with a black pant stood with two flower bouquet at the end of the step ladder. The man lifted his head as the person strolled down, he was waiting for. He quickly steeped forward and greeted them, gave them the flower bouquet.

"Welcome Swayam sir, Sharon Mam." The man greeted. Sharon smiled as Swayam also.

"You are Nitin, Secretary of Steve?" Swayam asked. Nitin nodded. Swayam put a hand on the small back of Sharon as Nitin led them.

Every man and woman had eyes on the stunning couple. Every woman was giggling inside with excitement as they watched, a tall with perfect body, cute but yet handsome feature with long hair till his neck cut in a stylish manner. All woman had eyes for him.

Every man had eyes for the stunning lady in his arms. A stunning figure, perfect curves at perfect places, long legs, a beautiful face.

Sharon looked up at Swayam and beamed. "I am so excited to meet, Rey and Taani." She giggled. Swayam chuckled. "Me too!" He grinned, showing his handsome grin. Sharon rolled her eyes and she watched around.

"Stop grinning like that. Those women will soon kill me, if you again smiled." Sharon scolded him playfully. Swayam threw his head back and laughed. Nitin turned and waited for the couple. As soon as they came near him, he turned and continued to led them.

Taani entered the bathroom and quickly closed the door behind her. Her back was pressed against the door. Her hand was on her thudding heart. She closed her eyes and focused on her breathing. She walked in front mirror and gasped.

Her hair was a wild mess. Saree was crumbled at places. She blessed Maya as her make-up wasn't ruined. Maya had used waterproof makeup. She sighted as she realized she was standing in front of Rey in this wild attire. First the sneeze then this. What more now?

Taani removed her saree and dried her body. She put some dry clothes. She had pulled the clothes without looking at them once. She groaned when she watched her reflection in mirror. A long violet colored Hello Kitty' shirt and a brown yoga pant. Taani shook her head and came out of the bathroom with a towel in her hand.

She entered living room, finding Rey with two cup of coffee and a shirt in his hand. Taani raised her eyebrow curiously. "Woh.. I told room service to grab a casual shirt of mine from their laundry. So.." He trailed as he lift up the shirt in his hand. Taani nodded and forwarded the folded dry towel.

"There is a extra bathroom, in the left." Taani informed. Rey nodded and left. Taani sighted because he didn't notice her outfit. How childish she is looking?

Soon, Rey changed into comfortable clothes. Taani took his wet clothes and put it in laundry bucket. Taani walked towards table where two steamy coffee mugs were placed. She took them both and turned, found Rey sitting on the sofa. He patted the space next to him. Taani gulped and walked towards him.

Rey smiled as he looked up and down to her. A Hello Kitty' shirt was actually looking cute on her. The tip of her nose was still red. Yet, She looked beyond cute. Taani handed him his coffee and settled beside him.

Both were put in a comfortable silence. Rey arm was on the sofa head, at back of the head of Taani. Both drank their coffee silently but comfortably. Rey put her and his glass on the table in front of them and then he turned to Taani.

Her eyes were on cups. When she sensed that he was looking at her. Her eyes flickered to him in swift moment, a concerned expression was written on her face. Rey frowned. He cupped her cheek.

"What's wrong?" He asked. Taani took some moment to answer. Her vocal cords were not helping. But, she had to talk about it.

"Rey.. Will you do a promise to me?" Taani asked in her soft and low voice. Rey got more concerned as he knew she was nervous. This wasn't looking good.

"Yes..Taani. Say." He responded. Taani looked down for some moment and then looked up directly in his eyes.

"Will you stop taking alcohol? Please.?" Taani asked. Relief washed through him after hearing her question. His mind was already in panic. He chuckled and shook his head.

Taani looked at him with confused expression. He smiled at her and pulled her towards him.

"I promise. Taani. I will never ever touch that bloody bottle of alcohol. I promise." He said as he put his arms around her. Taani rest her head on his shoulder and her hands around his waist. She looked up at him. He smiled as he gazed down in her eyes. Her eyes were pure chocolaty. Those were pure dark chocolate when she is calm and happy.

"Don't swear. And, don't even see it." Taani said sternly. Rey raised his eyebrow and looked down at her. Amusement was playing in his eyes.

"Already ordering huh? Not bad." Rey teased. Taani quickly looked down, she could feel her cheeks were flaming. Rey chuckled softly. He leaned and kissed her hair. He loved her natural scent of her hair. He put his cheek on her hair and tightened her arms around her.

"Taani.."He murmured. "Hmm.." Taani said as she intertwined their fingers together. He didn't say anything. She looked up to him. His eyes were perfectly still on her.

" Will you come on date with me?" He asked. Taani eyebrows knotted in confusion.

" Rey we have work here. Projects and..-"

Rey put his finger on her soft lips. "Shh.. I want you to propose properly." He smiled down at her, his eyes twinkling. " And, about work. Only 4 days are left. I am not saying let's go tomorrow. But, I want you to propose properly. You know, after all you are Rey Singhania's girlfriend!" Rey teased her.

She blushed. Taani wanted to hide her face. This is ridiculous. She is blushing every now and then. She smiled slightly at him. "Yes." She whispered.

Rey grinned down at her and leaned. He was about to kiss her. But, she backed down. Her entire face was red, even her ears also. Rey couldn't help but chuckle. He pulled her towards him and pressed his lips on her cheek. He grinned as the redness of her face increased. He let out a little laugh. Taani just wanted to grab a pillow and stuff her face in it due to embarrassment.

"Rey, this is not funny." She said in small voice. Rey was still laughing. But, when Taani didn't say anything. He looked down at her. She was silent. A serious expression on her face.

Rey lowered his arms around her waist and put his chin on her shoulder.

"It wasn't funny. It was the most adorable thing, I had seen." He whispered to her. He quickly pecked her cheek and she smiled slightly.

"You know, how adorable tomato is." Rey teased as Taani rolled her eyes. Taani glanced at the clock, it was nearly 10:30pm. Rey followed her gaze. They had an early work tomorrow morning. Rey groaned.

"I am sleeping here only with you." Rey stated. Taani shook her head in horror. "No way. Get up and go to room." She said.

He narrowed his eyes on her. " You know.. How tempting you are looking right now?" Rey teased her.Taani's eyes widen. She quickly stood up and Rey chuckled. Taani turned to leave but, Rey quickly stood up and caught her. He put his arms around her and turned her in his arms.

"Tomato." He muttered. Taani rolled her eyes but inside she was smiling. She liked when Rey is in his playful mode. She couldn't imagine that distant, always hot headed Rey. She felt guilt. Because of her, he was taking alcohol. He was almost depressed. She knew she was wrong. But, she didn't want to harm in any way.

"Rey.. I waantt..-" Rey quickly pulled her closer and leaned. Taani looked up at him as she could'nt make herself to open her mouth, his lips were mere inches from her.

"We will see. Alright? Now, I want you to go and sleep and rest. Is that clear??" He asked. Taani nodded. Rey grinned and leaned back.

"But before that, I want my goodnight kiss." He said with mischief. Taani quickly pecked his cheek. Rey rolled his eyes. He quickly pressed his lips to hers. A real quick peck.

"See yo-"

The door clicked open. Maya barged in.

"Taani..." But, she stopped in middle. Steve entered the room following Maya. Maya raised her eyebrow in shock. Steve cleared his throat. Taani quickly pushed Rey and came out of his arms. Maya watched Taani with amusement. She turned to steve.

"Go and grab some pop corns. We are going to listen a night story." She said to Steve. She turned towards Rey and Taani with a real serious and stern expression on her face.

The night was seriously going to be long...

Rahul greeted his teeth and threw the cellphone across his bed. Rage was all over his mind. His phone again ranged. He irritatedly picked up. He rubbed his forehead as he listened what other person saying. His lips curved into an evil grin.

"This is going to be fun now." He said to himself as he dialed another number.

Swayam sighted as Sharon ate his head for the mere ice-cream. Since, Sharon had been ill for a while, Swayam didn't want her to eat something that would invite the infection back. He groaned as Sharon threw an another glare at him.

"Sharon.. You are seriously fighting with me because of a mere ice-cream." Swayam exclaimed. Sharon ignored him.

"I am going to complain Rey. If he was here, he would have buy me a complete shop of ice-cream." Sharon complained.

"Oh. Firstly, Rey had to buy a hospital for him. Because, I am seriously gonna crush his bones. I am damn sure, he was the one who restricted Steve to talk with us. Not an single update of him, I am getting. And secondly, My sis. She is going to get a big lecture from me. I am gonna kidnap her and lock her in my plane and gonna take her with me to Canada. That little bear ignored my sms, calls everything." Swayam said as he shook his head.

Sharon eyes soften. " Swayam.. She got a new job. She must be busy." Sharon tried to make him understand. Swayam glared at celing.

"Firstly, I am gonna kick her boss's ass. How dare of him to keep my bay bear working?" He said angrily. Sharon bust out of laughing.

"God.. Poor Taani, Rey and Taani's boss. Gosh...Swayam!" She laughed more as Swayam looked at her with determined expression.

Rey grinned down and hugged her from behind. "Missed you." Rey murmured. Taani rolled her eyes.

She jumped when he started tickling her. "Rey stop." She pleaded.

Rey pulled her towards him and leaned down.

Rahul clapped his hand. He looked down at the mere woman in front of him who was glaring straight at him.

"Be ready Miss. Taani! I am going to take this contract. You have to be read to console your boss. Go and prepare the bed." He said smugly.

Taani's eyes widen as everyone passing by looked at them with surprise.

"Taani, you are going to give presentation." Maya exclamied excitedly, Rey beamed happily.

Taani gulped as to control her tears.

"We are in Mumbai, Rey." Swayam said. Rey tensed as he looked down at Taani who was sleeping peacefully.
