Chapter 1
Aah what a beautiful morning, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the view of the ocean is just magnificent. I gently sip my coffee while leaning aginst the balcony enjoying the view. The birds were in the trees chirping away letting me know that the day has begun. There was no tension in my life just me and my beautiful wife. I look down as two pair of arms encircle my waist. I gently place my left hand on top of hers while sipping coffee from my other hand.
"Good morning love...thinking about me?" (he heard his wife's voice that sounded to meldious)
"You know I do...you are always the first thought that crosses my mind" (He turns around while placing the coffee on the patio table. He pulls her toward him, he slowly brings her arms up placing them around her neck.) "Do you have any doubt? If you do then maybe I can do something to change that thought of yours?" (He smirks while she blushes while shaking her head no..)
"Let go of me..I have to go..." (She tried coming out of his hold but he was too srong...) "Let me go Maan or..or..."
"Or what Geet? We are on our honeymoon where are you going to go? We both are meant to be together"
"We will always be together" (She leans closer to him in almost kissing stance.) "But not right now" (She pushes him slightly while running away. Maan smiles and runs after him. Geet stops just short at the bathroom door.)
"Where will you go now? You are trapped"
"Ohh yeah?" (Maan steps closer to her while Geet moves back into the bathroom. Maan stops at the bathroom door smirking at her. Geet shakes her head and cloes the door on his face.)
"Maan..Maan open the door...come on I am getting late" (Maan opens his eyes in irriation...he was dreaming of their honeymoon again. What peaceful days he used to have. He opens the door with irriation where his wife of 10 years stood in front of him with anger. Maan leans forward to kiss her when she pushes past him toward the sink.)
"How many times do I have to tell you not to take that long in the bathroom? I have to get ready to go to work, get the kids ready and explain my dad how not to burn the house down but no you don't understand. You know if I made you do any of these things than am sure you would understand my positon"
"good morning to you too" (he mumbles as he walks toward the closet to take out his clothes. He stands in front of the mirror while holding the clothes in front of him. Look at what I have become. I used to be so handsome, with dark black hair, my eyes that used to make all the girls fall in love with me and my perfect body that I used to be so proud of. Now, look at me..I I look like an uncle..yuck! I no longer have abs, instead I have one small family pack which is making it harder for me to button my pants, my black hair is replaced with grey and white hair, my eyes have dark circles underneath making it less attractive. This is my life!
Let me give you guys a brief introduction of my life to make you guys better understand me.
I have a beautiful wife, well was beautiful until she started showing me her true colors. After one year of our marraige, she became the wife that everyone usually hates going home too. Yep, she is a nagger. The minute I wake up to the time I fall asleep. All she does is nag. Maan why are you going to work, Maan what do you want to eat, Maan what are you wearing, Maan...ugh..I am begining to hate my name now.
Next, I have three kids who all but one took my wife's genes. I have two daughters and a son well sometimes I think I have two sons and one daughter. The resason being my middle daughter, Maanavi, age 8, loves to dress like a tomboy. My oldest daughter, Akaira, age 10, is very quiet and shy or so she makes everyone believe that. I know whenever no one is looking she plays pranks on her brother and sister and silently watch them fight with one another. My son, Rohan, age 5, is carbon copy of Geet sometimes I think he is my dad instead of the other way around. He is way to mature for his age. Every day or week depending on what kind of mood my kids are in there would be complaints of harrasement from teachers and kids around the block.
Next, I have my father in law living with us. Many of you might think ohh how cute, the whole family is together. Father and son-in-law are together. Well, let me break that bubble for you guys. My father in law is like the fourth baby that I never ever would want to have. He acts like a baby and demand attention 24/7. We can't even leave him alone in a house to go on a vacatio. One time he ended up putting our house on sale to make a few profit. Thankfully, we came back on time to stop him.
Next, my darling grand-mother. First she used to nag me to get married, fine I got married, then she started nagging me to became a father, fine I now have three kids and made her great grandmother like you know how much effort it was to make kids? So here i thought I gave her eveything she wanted, fullfilled her dreams, but nope that is not enough. She and my father-in-law, Mohindar, join hands together and make my life miserable.
Next, my parents...well I will leave them alone since they seem the only two sane people i have in my life. Thank god they live far away from here, now my only goal is to ship my grandma to them so atleast I have one less person in the house that picks on my brain.
What next, ohh yeah my job. Do you know how lucky i am to be the owner of my company? If there was someone else in my place then I am sure I would've been fired by now considering how many "emergencies" I have thanks to my kids and my father-in-law.
If I tend to try and help the kids out then Geet tells me why I had to help them out because appariently my advise is not good enough. When I try to stay out of the matters and let her handle it then she yells at me saying I am not too involved. When I try to punish the kids then she hits me for punishing her darling little kids. Little kdis my ass. They are devils. Ugh there is not one sane person in this world that is able to help me. I am stuck in this chidiya ghar.
