Racism? such misundertood word! u gotta live in multi racial society to understand it. Black tribal rivalry can result into genocide.. white skinheads can kill white seculars without mercy..
What we r talking here is fascination. Personal choices. Public perception.

U gotta look at the commercials/ informacials on TV in country.

In India its "fair if good". In western world "slim is good". There r like millions of work out at home equipments on TV. Whats the diff?

opinions can be is 2 way sward. some1 can call u kali billi and some1 call u gori gadhi.

If u comment on srk's nose, or Anushka's lips or Hrithik's thumb... is that racism?

Racism can create civil war where humans get killed just coz of being other race.

BW is def. not place. Ask Nana Patekar. Many fair skinned actors have gone without a trace and many dark skinned r here.. talent.

But u cant change those ppl who like/dislike some1 for their appearance. Its nothing to do with racism.

That Kalli billi comment is just🤢
In India there is definitely colour fixation. In this forum also few ppl call Deepika a Kaamwali Bai. Don't know it's because of her dark skin or features!Still it's good to see likes of Deepika,Priyanka etc making it big in BW.And Smita Patil whatever ppl may say about her complexion but she was a acting power house.
Maybe slowly but surely change will come & ppl will learn to accept fellow human beings as they are.

Racism exits in hindi film industry not in hindi film industry related forum ?
I have seen a lot of comments insulting beautiful actors or actress with dark skin. They call Ajay Devgon, one of the most talented actor in India as ugly . I am sure that if his skin was fair, the situation would be different.

I have lived in both south India and north India. I think people in south are more obsessed with fair skin and it affects girls mainly .
