Main Characters

Ankita

A n amazing, fun loving, carefree and wealthy girl with not so authorative parents, separated and working overseas. She decided to stay in Mumbai where she works in a clothes shop called 'Women's Wear' as well as working she loves partying. She lives with her best friend Naina in a two bedroom apartment to be close to her work. She yearns for that emotional bond with her parents, as well as having an ambition to become a fashion designer. Ankita's Character has been inspired from the character of One tree hill (American TV Show), Brooke Davis.

Naren

He likes to travel around the world and .enjoys the experience each place brings to him..He left Mumbai after the death of his mother who died of cancer, he hates his alcoholic father for not taking care of her and blames him for her death. He has a young sister called Mansi, and hasn't seen her in past 5yrs.

Supporting Characters

Naina

Ankita's best friend since the age of 10, Naina's mother was the closest to having a motherly figure for Ankita. Naina is complete opposite to Ankita, she is mature and very sensible. She is in her final year of teaching. Naina opted to live with Ankita, so it's closer to her uni.

Shekhar

Naren's lawyer Friend, very sensible and down to earth person. He has always looked out for Naren especially after his mother's death.

Mansi

Young Sister of Naren, is 18yrs old. She dislikes her brother for leaving her with an alcoholic dad and when she needed him the most. She works in a cafe and wants to save enough money to attend uni to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor.

-More Characters will be introduced as the story progresses. Apart from Ankita, Naren, Mansi and Shekhar, all other characters physical appearance is left to your imagination. Last but not least this is my first attempt at writing a FF so please be patient as I might not be able to update regularly and will apologise in advance for any mistakes.

Part 1

She wakes up to the sound of prayer, her friend who was praying so she would pass in her final year.

"Please, please , I just need to pass this final year, that's all I need." she could hear Naina saying this over and over again. She grabs a pillow and throws it at Naina's head.

"Shut up!!" she says as she snuggles back into the duvet.

"Let me sleep!"

"Huh, let you sleep, who told you stay out that late" says Naina as she finishes her prayer.

"Oh by the way, what time did you get home?"

"All this partying is not going to get you anywhere, you said you want to be a fashion designer, how are you going to do it, if you are busy partying and sleeping in" she says as she opens the curtains and pulls the duvet off her.

"Urgh, subah subah lecture..OK carry on praying.." she says and pulls the duvet back on her. She hears her alarm ring, it was time for work.

"Oh nooo, is it that time already, I am so tired." she looks at the time and then looks to Naina who was standing by the window looking at her with folded arms. "It's all your fault. Why can't you pray in your room, ehh?"

Naina walks over to the door."To wake you up so you can get up for work, this is the only way"

"Come on get up, I have made you breakfast and you can take me to uni otherwise I will be late, it's half 8 already." "Ankitaa!" she shouts.

"OK, OK getting up!" she gets herself off the bed, almost falling over her shoes which were thrown across the room the night before.

At the Airport

For the first time in 5YRS, Naren lands in Mumbai with his backpack and sunglasses on, he looks across at the one place he called 'home' at one point in time. He looks on as loving and painful memories flash before him, he almost had a tear in his eyes but before that he got himself together and walks over to the car waiting for him. It was Shekhar, a lawyer and dear friend of his.

"Hi Long time" as they both shake hands and hug.

"So have you been? " Shekhar asks whilst Naren puts his bags in the car boot.

"Same as last time we spoke, good" he replies. " You wouldn't believe the places I have been, it was amazing."

"So will you be staying here for long" he asks as they both get in the car.

"You know me I don't like to stay long in one place especially here in Mumbai, never." he replies as they go pass the very same road he once travelled 5 years ago. "Thanks for letting me stay at your place, can't face going over there again"

"Not even for your sister?" Shekhar asks.

"Not this again Shekhar, she was fine the last time I spoke to her, she is strong and forgiving, I am not" he says as he turns to the window in disappointment.

They pull outside Shekhar's house where Shekhar's mum welcomes him in.

"Long time, beta" she says as she open her arms to hug him.

"Thanks for letting me stay here aunty" he says as he hugs her.

Shekhar asks the servant to take his bags and to show him to his room.

"You go freshen up, we will get your breakfast ready."

Naren smiles and says "Thanks again" as he follows the servant.
