This is what I call an episode!
Character of the day: Without a doubt Zain Abdulah who really rose, a notch in characterization and I am very happy with that.
Today it was all about limitless love from all sides.
There stood Usman Abdulah who was ever so proud of his son for making him proud and letting nothing fall.
There stood the Haiders , proud of whom they have given the hand of their daughter to.
There stood Ayat, who was proud to have a loving a brother.
and there stood Aliya.. away from them all, looking at the man in front of her, wondering if the past weeks had been a dream or did she never knew the real Zain Abudlah?
Was this the same guy that refused to save her from the goons ?
Was this the same guy that told her she meant nothing to him?
One question she asked him, if I won't speak, who will speak for my parents? He looked her and walked away like a fire within him.
That Zain Abdulah may have not saved her from the goons, he may have not fought for her, but today he stood tall and fought for her in the BIGGEST form - His mother.
His mother stood shocked. She was expecting his side all along, his support but she was baffled. He didn't support her, but supported his wife and protected her like a shield. He became the hope for his in laws. He was fire today and even she couldn't do anything because he was Zain after all. She realized that she could never harm Aliya because Zain stood in front of her like a shield.
Today, Zain Abdulah grew up. He went from a Mama's boy to a man. But just a man that knows the truth and stood up for the truth. The Hate Veil is removed. But it will take him time to become Aliya's man. There will be a stark difference between Suriya's Zain and Aliya's Zain.
it will be interesting to see that is Zain really the one we have seen or are currently seeing or are there more layers to be peeled off today to show us the REAL ZAIN.
Scenes I LOVED.
1. Zain supporting Aliya and then fighting with his mom. Some lines were superb today :
- Aliya's marriage happened because of me ( A bonus point there as Zain admittted that they got married because of him. If he wasn't in the room, if he didn't make her believe he was Zeeshan, this would not have happened but it's DESTINY. They are made for each other and soon, that will come into play). Zain telling that if his aunt and uncle can treat him like a son, why can't she do the same for Ayat? Why is she being punished so much? Good idea with the whole Ayat vs Fahad thing.
2. Aliya looking at Zain proudly and BI music plays - Amazing scene. Very subtle but a powerful scene.
3. Zain hugging Gulam - BEST scene. Because the way the scene spoke. The scene was classy, and powerful. I loved how they hug and when they finally let go, Aliya stood in the middle. I always knew that Ayat track was planted to be the first ladder to make Aliya fall for Zain and I think today more than love, she felt whole lot of respect for him.
4. Ayat-Rizu: YES! Finally makers listen. It was a treat to watch them. Can we seriously get more scenes between these two? Thank god, no Gauhar today but Ayat and Rizwan scenes are treat to watch for eyes.
5. Aliya looking at Zain while swimming - I liked how they are still maintaining their kitkit mode and that was just one heck of a cute scene. It shows Aliya's growth. From looking at him like he has no shame to looking at him with a strange bliss on her face.
Stars of the day: Harshad Arora. ( YES YES YES. From start to finish man), Suchitra ( Suriya was bang on today, it's just Harshad had more powerful scenes and lines), Naved, and the rest of the cast was pretty good.
