SLB upset over 'Shuddhi' makers on cast

Two top filmmakers are vying for Deepika Padukone. We are talking about Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar. The actress is wanted for their big films Bajirao Mastani and Shuddhi respectively, but she can choose only one because of her jam-packed diary.

Deepika Padukone has chosen Shuddhi over Bajirao Mastani, claim sources. She has apparently allotted bulk dates to it. "The dates Bhansali wanted from Deepika have been allotted to Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi'. This is why the actress is not in a position to play Mastani in the former's film," a source is quoted as saying by a tabloid.

There was also a buzz that Bhansali is keen to have Ranveer Singh in the movie, but that's also uncertain.

Now, it's heard that Kareena Kapoor is keen on doing Bhansali's film, and Bajirao might be played by Ajay Devgn. Talks are already on with Priyanka Chopra to play Bajirao's wife, Kashibai.

Shuddhi is slated to go on the floors by the end of this year, while Bajirao Mastani is expected to roll early next year.

Moreover, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is said to be upset by the Shuddhi makers for casting his dream lead in their film.

BTW, it's been unprecedented in Bollywood that two much-delayed films with uncertain star casts have hogged so much attention.

I wish dp-ranveer do both movies but then again it will be overdose with all promotions.

if shuddhi starts late this year means hrithik left the project due to other reasons!! coz he is totally free from may and he can easily start a new project from aug taking 2 months break

I think Hrithik is not comfortable with either script or KJ/Kareena. I don't think he back out to take break.

I think Ajay will be good as Bajirao tho' HR rules in regal roles but I guess he is doing that Ashu movie. Bebo or Sona would suit the role of Mastani!

It's not ur lovely pair who are giving importance to Shuddhi
They chosen Shuddhi over your movie
Then there is no need to upset

DB Shuddhi shooting was suppose to start on 3rd dec

But that team told due to HR health issues they postponed

Now if movie is going to start later this year HR can be part of that

If HR has issues with Bebo he must in Shuddhi now bcz no bebo

It's dippy then there is no question of bebo hr issue

Might be KJo hr ?
