hairsprayy and gel damaes ur hair alot..
mousse is actually healthyy...for ur hair..
u shud use that..or..
braid ur hair.into tiny braids the nite b4..adn open them in the morning...or...
wash ur hairr..
buy a steam towel.a.dn wrap ur hair in that...
and take in off after 15 mins..and blwo dry ur hair..it loks hawtt lol

the braids is the best, esp over night, and wen the hair is damp.
the ability to curl depends on how much keratins u have for straight hair there is less therefore, the hair doesnt curl easily and stay for long.
if i curl my hair with roller it stays for 2hrs the most n i havent left the house yet . a few yrs ago japanese perms were in rage so i used to wx my hair n put rollers only on the ends that used to work, just soft curls. while for my grad i used loreal bonding solution to break the hair bonds, n it stayed for the whole day like more than 24 hrs. it was amazing. use only once or twice in a yr.

yeah mousse makes the hair softer. so its better but not sure of the effects

try layering your hair,witha lot of layers..That got my hair from straight to soft waves
