Post the critical and box office success of Queen, it is no surprise that Vikas Bahl is suddenly on the speed dial of every good actress in Bollywood. Well, this is to let all the actresses know that Vikas has already finalised his heroine for his next film Shaandar that will be India's first destination wedding film. While we had informed you earlier about Shahid Kapoor having been confirmed for the same, wehave now learnt from reliable sources that the young, vivacious Alia Bhatt has been cast in the film that is slated to go on the floor in August this year. While Vikas remained unavailable to confirm the news, we can certainly say that Shahid and Alia will make for a shaandar jodi.

and i have to say never cared for Alia, but she was pretty ok in 2 states trailer. And has been grabbing some good projects. Good luck to her, just hope industry ppl dont overpraise or hail her as the next savior of bollywood.

They've already done that! Woh toh Kangana arrived with Queen soon after or we'd all be obsessing over Bollywood's Meryl Streep only. 😆

Their 10+ years of age difference won't be creepy thanks to Shahid's baby face.

I think of all the older actors Shahid is the only one that will look ok with her
