About the Holi episode :
Many are upset Pakhi put color on Raghav first but was she really the first one? Nope..It was Kalpi who accidentally colored his face first..Thats why they showed that scene. Also notice under which circumstances it happened, he had asked for answers from her and thats when the color fell on his face as a sign..that was answer he was looking for but failed to notice.. Even today, her hand touched his kurta so technically and symbolic, it was Kalpi who was the first one. Raghav gave only one person to apply color on his face and that "HAQ" was given to Kalpana and not Pakhi. He came to the chawl for only person, thats Kalpana and not for the chawl people. If Raghav was very calm today when Pahi took her chance to put rang on his face, its because of Kalpana, he was happy and enjoyed the whole celebration of holi, progress in his character from the "Khadoos" tag. This was the signification of this entire holi segments in EMA!
Confession:
Many are upset Kalpana didnt confess today. Real confession will come later on when both are in danger or something like that. If both confess now, there is nothing much left apart from revenge track and Pakhi being the 5th wheel. They will stretch out confession to something big, she gave hints today, a positive sign for Raghav - and thats what he needed which he got today!
Conflict between heart and mind:
Kalpanas heart is still wanting to confess but her mind is scared of the difference. Raghav gave assurance how only she matters to him and nothing else..but its a long way for Kalpana. The truth is lying deep inside her hearts. That she loves Raghav but now its up to her mind to make the choice whether to listen to that truth or believe in the obstacles wall society has put up between them.
Raghav said the sky and the earth can meet each other while Kalpi doesn't believe in that because its obstacles there. There is quote which says "some people meet the way the sky meets the earth, inevitably, and there is no stopping or holding back their love. It exists in a finished world, beyond the reach of common sense".
Two different world:
Kalpana has being taught the hard way - nothing comes easily in this world without hard work in her world. Her mother has taught her to comprise, sacrifice and go along with the flow because of their social status. She has been deprived of her mothers love but in return got her father and brothers love. But its not equal to a mothers love a child pines for in childhood. Constant negligence, ignorance because Kamla was too busy saving the world and play a good mother to Pakhi has left insecure feeling inside Kalpana. Every child desire to be their parents center of attention and when someone else gets first priority, it will affect them emotionally and create insecurity. She has low self esteem because she has always lost everything she wanted to Pakhi.
Raghav, in the other hand, was born into a wealthy family. However happiness was short- lived for him because he lost his father at young age, then the culprits tried to take advantage of the situation and his helplessness, estranged from his mother so it was a bitter life with just darkness for him. He had all of the material needs but not love and affection of a parent every kid need. Kids who lack affection will find it difficult to build friendship and relationships with others. Thats why Raghav refused to accept his own feelings when he first fell for her. People he loved either left or was taken away from him hence he has never had any stable happy life.
When these two crossed each others path, they complement each other. Kalpanas care and affection despite of his harsh approach toward her when he was in danger and helpless state, standing up against him without creating a scene and mostly her simplicity approach toward the life made him fall for her. She brought light into his life and made it colorful - thats why he is desperate to hold into her because he doesn't want to go back to the darkness again when he has seen the light! In return, he taught to he to step up and do something to archive her goals in life. He made sure to push her outside her comfort zone and dig a little deeply to find the courage to fight her own battle.
The fifth wheel:
Its also important to understand Pakhis world here - she lives in a dream world. She was born as a princess, but she was also deprived of real love and affection from her parents. Power and money was their priority hence Kamla made sure to give her love and affection and in the process became another "Neetu" for her own daughter, Kalapana. Pakhi has a fragile heart and beru stubborn. She has never struggled for anything in life, everything came her way. She loves the idea of being in love with Raghav, she fails to take the hint that he is not interested in her because she thinks sooner or later, he will accept her love. For the first time in her life, she will lose something which was never hers to begin with unless her Kamla maa comes to her rescue again but will it last forever? I dont think so!
The real world is a struggle and nothing comes easy whether its love, happiness or materialistic needs! Thats what Raghav and Kalpana and Pakhi will understand in the long term.
The greatest heroes in life are those who give up what they want because someone needs it more! Lets see who becomes the "hero" and who will be the "lucky one" in this triangle!
