What had she done? She had taken the protection of a monter from her father. What had she done in haste? Now what will she do?

Chapter 3

Hamida's words filled her up with immense amount of fear. She hadn't even thought of the result of her actions. She held back her tears as she hates to cry in front of people. Maybe Hamida was right, She had to run away from Agra before its too late. Before Jalal uses her body for his entertaiment. Jodha held her head high up"I will never let Shehensha touch me.. If he touches, either I will die or he will." spoke the fiery princess. She had the least fear of Hamida as she had a strong feeling that Hamida was a good human being. Hamida was left a bit shocked with Jodha's words as no one dared to say a word against the Shehensha and she is talking about killing him. Sure she was a nice person, but at the end of the she was HIS mother. Hamida spoke in an angry tone "This is the last time you have uttered such word. Next time It will not be tolerated." Jodha decided to change the topic as stretching this topic would do no good to her. "Paar aab hum kya kare?" Jodha spoke in a worried tone. Hamida's expressions changed into a tensed one. She was tensed for the princess. Jodha covered her face with her hands in order to calm herself down. Hamida suddenly spoke "I have an idea! But you have to patient. I will make arrangements for your departure from Agra, but you have to wait for a day and that means.." Jodha's voice was a bit shaky"That means I have to spend one night here." Hamida nodded and she wrapped Jodha tightly in her arms. Jodha calmed down a bit. She felt safe in Hamida's arms, not like her mother's, but close to it. "Believe me Beta! I will try to keep Jalal away from you tonight. Ill try to make sure that he spends his night somewhere else. Jodha felt assured. She put her hand on her stomach and said "Im very hungry!" She gave out a cute smile to Hamida , whi in return patten Jodha's cheeks. Hamida ordered food to be served to Jodha.

Jalal was busy in his Deewane Khaas meeting all day. He felt tired and wished for a bath. He ordered the maids to prepare the water for him and until then he decided to take a stroll around his private garden. Jalal walked past the garden. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the red roses on the bush. Jodha's face appeared on his mind right after he saw the roses. He let out a grin as tonight he would claim her body. Never in his life he had lust and desired someone to this extent like he does for Jodha. There was something very special about her that draws his attention towards her. He thought to himself "This bandhi is more beautiful then my Begums and definitely more attractive. Is she attracted towards me? Who cares if she isn't! I would claim her mine tonight." He walked towards the bathroom. There everything was prepared for him. Before getting inside the bathtub he ordered the maids "Get that new bandhi ready! I will be spending the night with her." By saying that Jalal drowned himself in the cold rose water.

Jodha had just finished eating and now if she was in Amer she would've taken a nap. Oh! How she missed Amer! She remembered that wicked Suryabhan who wanted to marry her so that later onwards he could ask for Amer itself from Raja Bharmal and Raja Bharmal would've happily given it away to him for the sake of his daughter. When she revealed this in front of everyone, none stood by her. She was bound to run away as she had promised herself that she would never let Suryabhan's evil intention come true.Her whirlpool of thoughts were disturbed by a bandhi "The shehensha ordered me to get you dressed as he would spend the night with you. Come along with me." Jodha's mind froze. The time had come. Didn't Hamida say that she will handle everything? Of course! The shehensha would never pay heed to any of her words. He lives his life in his own tune. Jodha kept mum and got up from her place. The bandhi helped Jodha to get ready whereas Jodha was planning to run away tonight itself! But she was blank! Nothing hit her head. Jodha wore a simple pink lehenga choli without any jewelleries. They clipped her hair up and applied a strong perfume to her. She was ready for Jalal, for the torture, as she thought it to be.

Hamida got the news of Jalal spending the night with Jodha. She felt really guilty as she couldn't help Jodha. She paced back and fro in her room. What would she do to make Jalal stop? How can she forget that nothing can stop Jalal now! He gets what he wants and now he wants Jodha. Hamida raised her hands in order to pray to God "Hay Allah, please help Jodha."

Jalal moved forward to the room where Jodha was. His hands, as usual, were behind him. His eyes directed towards the door and a smirk on his lips. He couldn't wait any longer. Just as he entered the room he saw her lying down on the bed. Her back was turend towards him and he couldn't see whether she was sleeping or not. His anger rose. He wanted to spend the night with her and here she is sleeping! This is untolerable! he thought to himself. He quickly walked towards the bed and just as he was about to touch her, she cluchted hold of his hands.Her eyes flew open. Her other free hand pointed a dagger towards him. But she didn't attack him.She spoke "Don't you dare touch me!" Jodha slowly got up from the bed, leaving Jalal's hand but still pointing the dagger towards him.Jalal's anger had reached to its top. Women fall right on his feet. Any woman would give away her life to be with him, and this mere MAID is declining him. His manly ego was immensely hurt. Jodha had woken up the monster everyone fears in the Sultanate. Jalal roared "You stupid woman! How dare you defy the Shehensha! You will pay for this."

He gripped Jodha's hand tightly and simply threw away the dagger from her hand. She was flabbergasted! She had nothing as her self defence and the wrath she saw in his eyes shaked her to the core. She trembled on his touch. Warm tears escaped from her eyes as she knew that no one could save her now. Jalal pinned Jodha in the wall and held face. "You dared to defy me and now pay for it!" He hungrily kissed her neck. Jodha went numb and tears were continuously falling from her eyes. She could feel his wet kisses all over her neck. He left bite marks near her collar bone and when he was done with her neck he swiftly picked her up in his arms and headed towards the bed. Jodha wasn't protesting anymore, she was just numb and like a lifeless doll. Jalal pinned her hands on the side of the bed and started to leave kisses on her cheeks. Just when he was about to claim her lips, his eyes met with her hazel eyes. The teary doe like eyes send a kick on his stomach. Guilt filled him up and he loosened the tight grip on Jodha's hand. What had he done in his wrath? He tried to force himself on a woman!That's a grave sin and Allah will never forgive him for that. He let go off of her and got up from the bed. He had adjusted his dress and calmed himself down. Jodha was utterly shocked with his behaviour! Why had he stopped? She was indeed very much disgusted with him but one question rang on her ears. Why did he leave? Jalal cleared his throat and spoke in a cold tone "My Sincere apologies to you. But don't think that I will leave you. I will punish you for what you did to me tonight but not like this. NEVER!" He dashed out of the room leaving Jodha in a devastated condition. She had to escape from this hell by tomorrow night before its too late. Jodha cried her heart out for her poor state.

An angry Jalal made his way to his room. His eyes was red due to anger. A part of him was very much guilty of his actions. But his ego was more hurt. He would not let Jodha slip away from him that easily. He could just simply kill her or punish her, but he decided to handle this matter his way. "Jodha you shouldn't have had done this."

Morning came in a jiffy and Jalal became busy in his Sultanate work. Jodha on the other hand was lost. Her eyes were red and puffy due to the crying. She had a sleepless night. Hunger had died down and now the only thing on her mind was to get away from the Mughals, from that monster! She wiped her tears from her eyes as it wasn't the time to cru, but the time to act bravely and face the situation with the head up high because at the end of the day she was a Rajvanshi! She planned that she would sneak out of the palace at lunch time when everyone would be busy. Little did she know that Jalal had layed his upon her and she could never escape from his eyes.
