So, I wanted to have a good discussion (this would be my fourth topic in a row after the Shaadi.Com, Rape, and Infidelity threads) again with you guys. 😊 I would have never thought my favorite singer would have armpit hair. Madonna posted posted a picture on Instagram and is not ashamed. Wow, really shocking! She is basically saying if women have armpit hair, who cares? Would anyone have guts to do this? I want to see if they can try. 😉 Is it NASTY if women have ARMPIT HAIR?!! Please share your thoughts. 😲

Can you post this as a link? this is a disgusting sight to watch.
And I dont know what can I say about this topic. Somethings are best not discussed. Not every thing should be discussed. Some things are personal matter and at most issue between two people. It is not like we are exposed to armpits anyway.
Edit: Thanks Love Pr. I appreciate it.

With all due respect KA, it is NOT an issue between 2 people. It's a woman's body and only she gets to decide what she wants to do with it. No-one else has a right to make her feel insecure about it.

Your post comes across as incredibly immature. What is a disgusting sight to watch? Do you realise that the average women looks just like this? Maybe some day you will. If you're not disgusted with actresses shaving/waxing, then why are you disgusted with something that is very natural?

@bold - Lol I highly doubt that unless the sun don't shine in your part of the world!

Ya'll need to watch this before judging a woman for the choices she chooses to make with her body:

And where did I say that I am the one who will decide where women should have hair or not. She can wear a beard if she wants to. I just found the sight disgusting and asked Mr. Love Pr. to post it as a link. He was kind enough to do it for me. You can get more votes and he will post it back. lol.
People dislike things all the time. Some women dont like beard, other dont like bald, some dont like anil kapoor types. Its ok. I dont go after them and talk about women making men insecure. lol

Well I have not come across many armpits. lol. No I dont know much about shaving and waxing. Nor I want to discuss that. I only said I did not like the site.

Yes sun does not shine much here.

I think you are being a little unfair. I was not nor I care about woman making choices about her body. However like many others I too have right to like or dislike any act of anyone. I am not going starting a campaign here asking women to do a certain thing.

I do appreciate your concern however I think you maybe missed the point of my post. In my opinion these grooming issues are a matter between person in question and a person who is affected by that question. Lets say madonna and her friend. What is there to discuss. Anyway

Completely contradictory to your post above. Like I said, you cannot say it is a personal choice and then go on to pass a judgement. I believe it is you who is missing the point.

Everyday we make a choice and people like or dislike that choice. I can go bald today and tomorrow people will give opinion if they like it or not. What is the big deal if I dont like a choice of someone keeping armpit hair? Where have I forced them to do anything about it?

KA - flower it up all you want, your 'disgust' doesn't sound any better. You passing a judgement was not in good taste. Yet again, you miss the point. If you go bald like you said, people will tell you whether they like it or whether it suits you. I can only hope your friends won't look at it and call it disgusting. Also, stop comparing apples with pears. Going bald is (usually) a personal choice, body hair isn't really a choice.
What's all this about votes to bring a picture back? lol how old do you think I am to care about that? My problem is your reaction to it, not the picture itself. You clearly know very little about a woman's body but please go ahead and continue to make your disgust clear to us all.

If we read the title of this topic it mentions Turnoff? I saw a picture of a woman with armpit hair and I did not like it meaning it was a big turnoff.
At this time and point I am not clear what is it that has bothered some so much. Maybe it was use of the word disgust. Wel you guys have to give me a little benefit of doubt with choice of words. lol.
Anyway this can go on and on so let me just end it by saying I want to apologize if any girl or woman minded my comment about armpit hair. I may have missed some biological issues here which I am not getting and therefore commented crudely on something that they do not have control over.
Therefore my apology to all. Please do not mind.
Thank You

KA girls tend to feel conscious enough about the way they look with the media not helping much, so when a member of the opposite sex feels the need to express a negative opinion and re-enforce the idea that there is a 'right' and 'wrong' way to look, it really doesn't help much. You'll find girls tend to feel more confident/feel good with no body hair too, but it should be for them to decide. It shouldn't be because someone has passed a judgement about them that makes them feel conscious about their body.

It was probably your choice of words that evoked this reaction.
