Ok guys, I'm back!!! And my grim mood of earlier, over the new promo and predictions of a new girl entering kyph as, god forbid, Angad's gf, has dissolved into thin air. My new mantra: "Live for the moment!!!" Just handle each day as it comes and stop fretting about the future. Because tomorrow or next week, this being an Ekta Kapoor soap, may bring doom and distress but we shouldn't let that distract from today's enjoyment. And today darlings, was INCREDIBLE!!!!!! An incredible letdown, that is.😕
So the show started with Prithvi barging into the room clapping and laughing and actually managing to look a little sinister!!!!! While Angad and Kripa automatically sprang away from each other and stood there with such cute shame-faced expressions, Prithvi launched into a furious tirade about it being lucky that he'd returned in time to witness such a romantic scene. Angad totally went like, "Prithvi!!!!!" I just came to give you guys your wedding present and Prithvi, at his scathing best, went like really. You got Kripa and me this symbol of OUR everlasting love. Such sarcasm!!!😃 I'm proud of you, Prithvi. Lol.
And then, shock of all shocks😲, he turned on Kripa and gave her such a talking down that if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes, I would have refused to believe it. Basically, he was lambasting her for being such a hypocrite and playing him for a fool. Refusing to go back to Angad when he told her to and then doing all this while his back was turned. Ok, hang on to your seats everybody. He then raised his hand to actually………..slap her!!!!!! But this was the point where our hero decided to jump to his ladylove's rescue and grabbed Prithvi's hand and told him it was all a misunderstanding.
Prithvi wasn't taking any of that "Misunderstanding" crap however and rushed to get his gun, which he pulled on Angad with a lot of flair, lol, with the camera totally zooming in on him from this weird angle. Hehe! The stunned looks on Angad and Kripa's faces were definitely worth seeing. And since no amount of pleading would get Prithvi to put it away, Kripa did what any self-respecting filmy heroine does in a situation like this. She flung herself in front of lover boy to protect him from harm. Hmmm! Clichd like hell though this is, but I'm afraid I still found it kind of sweet😳
This scene must have really taxed the brains of the cameraman and technical and lighting crews, if the frantically zipping and then slowing down for deep close-up shots cameras and flashing and blinking lights and colors are any indication. And on this high suspense note, we were suddenly jolted out of our nail-biting state of suspense by Angad and Kripa singing Andekhi Anjaani.😃 Yup folks! End of first set. Lol. Btw, it's about time they updated that title song and got Kripa to sing about love being a foolish emotion and Angad singing odes to love, at the rate this serial is progressing.😛 Hint! Hint!
The second set opens with Prithvi finally pulling the trigger…………………………and nothing happens. Because Surprise! Surprise! The gun was empty. And then Prithvi, being a complete sweetheart goes, "Kripa. The gun was empty. But you still rushed to shield Angad with your own life and the only people for whom we put our lives at stake are the ones whom we love more than our own life itself!!!!!!!!" how profound is that👏. Finally a shell-shocked looking Angad decided to break his silence and goes, "Prithviiiiiiiiiiiii!!! What are you saying? Kripa is your WIFE! You two are married!!!" and at long last somebody decided to inform the poor unenlightened sweeto that it had actually been the unknown, unseen cousins wedding. No matter what Kripa's get-up might have suggested otherwise😆. Btw, I'm liking Jay Panday more and more each day, because it was only his timely intervention that landed Angad in hospital and postponed the wedding that was slated to be held the next day. Talk about an accidental blessing.
Anyways, coming back to the serial. Prithvi, whom I'm convinced now, has got to be some kind of a saint descended direct from heaven, in response to Angad's assertion that he could never take Prithvi's place, replied that (and this has got to be my fav dialogue of the day), "you are right. You can never take my place. You can never take the place of her best friend. But you have your own place, you are her one true love!!!!!!" Bravo! darling👏👏👏 and also "if I'd married her, I would have ruined MY life because the only person she loves is you." And saying so he walks out. Kripa, throughout this whole interaction between her two ardent admirers was standing with her back towards them, crying bucketfuls of tears. And when Prithvi walks out, Angad walks up to her and touches her on the arm and suddenly she whirls around and then comes……………………………... THE HUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sigh! What can I say about that? To say that it took my breath away would be an understatement. It was everything we expected and more!!!!! Seriously, I half expected my TV set to short circuit during this scene, because of the hot and happening stuff going on. Lol. Unbelievable stuff! The balaji ppl have truly outdone themselves. This episode is definitely going down in the annals of kyph history as one of the most amazingly scintillating ones till date, and all because of that one soul-touching hug. Too good!!!!!

And on this spectacular note, the second set ended. You know, if I had the slightest shred of sympathy for myself, I would have stopped watching then and that way I could have had gone off to sleep tonight still drifting in my blissful state of euphoria. But no! Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I persisted in watching the rest of the episode, even after the preview for the third set showed Kripa hysterically screaming at Angad and Prithvi that she could bloody well make up her own mind, thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sigh! So the third set started with Angad and Kripa still locked in each other's arms. But suddenly Kripa's eyes open and that's when your struck with this feeling of foreboding and she lifts her head off Angad's chest and then eases herself out of his arms, while the poor guy and all of us are left going,
"Kripa! Kripaa! KripAAA!!!" and she goes like, "what have I done? Oh god, what have I done? Prithviiiii?!?!?!?!?" and rushes out of the house, with poor dumbstruck Angad tagging along. And she rushes up to Prithvi and screams, how dare you say all that stuff to which he replies that it's true. And than we see Kripa getting really hysterical and lambasting both of them for taking her for granted and then finally storming off!!! Well, what can I say, apparently having the whole world being in love with you can get to be a bit of a strain!!!😃
Kripa then goes to her mom with her tale of woe who is suitably chastened and promises not to force her into any decision and agrees with her that she ought to give this decision time and for the time being simply concentrating on her career. Can you possibly think of a bigger anti-climax, I ask you?😕 There I was, all psyched up that today was THE DAY when all their and consequently all our problems would be over when they reconciled and this is what the balaji people had in store for us????? Nasty! Nasty!😡😡😡
Prithvi was shown trying to patch things up with Kripa and telling her that he had received an offer for a show starring Angad and Kripa.
The preview for tomorrow shows Angad and Prithvi in conversation and Angad saying that he was afraid that time might not rule in his favor, and Prithvi replying how could it not, since Angad loved her and she loved him back, Awwww! What a sweetie🤗. And in a complete about turn when Karthik goes rushing to Naina to inform her that Kripa is back in Angad's life. Naina's reply was, and I quote, "Trying to remove Kripa from Angad's life only made me lose my son, maybe having her come back in his life will return him to me!!!"😲 leaving Anitah shell-shocked and Karthik fuming.
Sigh! Today's episode gave the word bittersweet a whole new meaning. On the one hand, you had the HUG and on the other, Kripa flipping her lid completely. But don't lose all hope just yet darlings. Because today, a couple of minutes before the episode started, I saw a new promo. And boy-o-boy, what a promo it as. I saved it for the end to cheer all of you up😃. It showed Angad and Kripa together, dressed in white and standing and striking poses in front of a white background and talking. And Angad went, "na kabhi dekha." Followed by Kripa saying "Na kabhi dekhain gay" and a whole lot of other stuff which I missed because my cell chose that moment to start ringing incessantly😡, and finishing off with both of them saying together, "Jab hoon gai Angad aur Kriap aik saath!!!!!" I have a very positive feeling about this promo. It's my only ray of hope right now.
