I resented abhay(gunjan) at the beginning and his acting was really bad...but then he really started improving and at times madhu-abhay scenes were cute and fun...especially the holi scene and the scene where he encourages madhu to stand up for herself.

And when we were finally getting adjusted to the current storyline and accepting gunjan...we all get the news that vivian is coming back...and questions like gunjan is going to go...in what capacity is vivian coming back...is gunjan going to be a villain now...etc

Let me make it clear...that vivian was the best thing that could have happened to MEIEJ-1.

But abhay is not RK...he is a simple soul who loves his family..and he is sorted...he doesn't carry any baggage like RK...MEIEJ is a romantic comedy..and those who were expecting it to be like season 1 were obviously disappointed. But now people have realised that season 2 is fun filled and not heavy drama and just when everything was going well vivian is coming back...isn't that like giving up on gunjan...and wouldn't it be odd for vivian and madhu to pair up now...father and husband look alikes is really gross you know...

And we would not like vivian coming back as a villain or as some other character..as that would be too bad..and vivian would definitely not jeopardize his career...so he is coming back as the hero...and i have no qualms about that...but pushing gunjan on the side lines is not correct...its not how things should be

Welcome to the real world buddy ...here nothing is fair...its simply survival of the fittest and the bestest... so stop feeling sorry for Mr GU..

Yes I agree with you, actually when Gunjan came I realised by the characterisation that this role suited him very well. The audience would have accepted him and they were, slowly slowly the TRP was increasing this last week it went up again, but a lot of dynamics are happening here, the producers of the show AS and ST split, AS has MBEIEJ and ST Rang Rasiya, these shows now will be in competition AS wants to prove that with Vivian there it can work, but Vivian is having a love triangle to help, so it's not all Vivian's comeback that will give the required TRP to possibly keep the show on air after June 2014 (that's the extension Colors has given to the producers of the show). AS wants his show to stay on air so he is bringing this love triangle drama and making Abhay Kapoor's role villain to try to stay on air.

About Gunjan I think his ready for this and has accepted the changes to his character, he says he wants to help the show get the TRP it needs, and if he has a positive and negative role on his resume it's a good thing for him, he also said on his interview today that if his character leaves the show he won't be too put out as his resume has been enriched from the experience, it will help him finding other opportunities in serials in the future.
