Prologue


Hello Arnav ? I've got something to tell you , Khushi could hardly control her excitement she could not belive this was happening to her unexpected yes ... But she was still over the moon.

Khushi just hang fire can I tell you something first ? From the sound of Arnav's voice and his desperation to tell her whatever it was got khushi worried ... Ok Arnav go ahead you first what is it ? You ok ? What's happened? khushi's panic mode kicked she could feel her heart beat increasing and could almost hear it.

I'm sorry khushi I can't be with you any more I'm really sorry ... I hope you can forget me and maybe one day even find it in your heart to forgive me , find some one more deserving in your life who will love you the way you want ... But arnav what's happened , you joking right cause if you are it is not funny ... And the line went dead.

Chapter 1

Three years before

Khushi was sat on her bed reflecting on the past year and how her life had turned upside down.

Thinking of all that bought tears to her eyes , she thought to her self .. Allah where did i go wrong in my life what did I do to upset you so much that you are punishing me.

Khushi was born and bred In England her family consisted of her mum garima dad sashi and brother Imran , up until the age of 21 life had been always kind to Khushi she was loved by everyone had a lot of friends doing well In her career and although belonging to a conservative Muslim family she was allowed the freedom to choose where her life was heading as long as she showed respect and didn't embarrass her parents.

At the age of 17 whilst still at college khushi met Arif although it wasn't love at first sight they eventually fell in love and dated each other for three years ... Their relationship was what any teenage relationship would be like and over the years they fell in love. Although Arif's family were aware of their relationship khushi's were not so their relationship was hush hush ... It was not that Khushi wanted to hide this from her family but she didn't think her family would appreciate her bringing a guy home without her being serious about him or ready to marry him.

Few years down the line when she was ready to introduce Arif to her family she took him and he was welcomed in to the family.

Khushi always knew marriage always consist of a lot of giving and it wasn't a bed of roses what people made it out to be however she loved Arif and was very happy that they were finally married.

Few years down the line cracks started showing in the marriage, Arif became unemployed and was struggling to find a job , although khushi decided to stand by him both mentally physically and financially however it wasn't enough. There were constant arguments and eventually it turned in to domestic violence ... There were numerous times when khushi cried herself to sleep. It all came to an end eventually ending a ten year marriage , it was a hard descion for khushi to come to but she just couldn't cope any more.

Although her parents were sad that their daughters relationship broke down they welcomed her back with open arms and supported her to get back to normality .

And Here she was sitting in her bedroom a year after she walked out, thinking about her life and what the future held.

She had become a more stronger person now and was doing well in life however there was somedays like today where everything came back to her.

On a positive side she was flying high in her job, khushi worked in an events management company and was a part of their quality auditing team. Only today khushi was told by her manager that she had to quality audit and event they were managing for a well known tv channel and a few actors from their daily serials were coming for a show and she would be in-charge of the auditing side of it and then suggest
any improvements the company can make for the future.

Khushi chuckled to herself thinking how her mum was over the moon when she told her about this upcoming business trip she had to make,her mum was a big fan of the serials on that particular channel and couldn't belive her daughter would be rubbing shoulders with these actors.
Khushi never actually paid interest in these saas Bahi serials as she thought they were waste of time .. However whenever her mum was watching her serials she often caught sight of an very attractive male actor but never paid much attention to the serial that her mum was watching.

Khushi got up from her bed ,reached for her suitcase and started packing for her business trip ...

Chapter 2

LAVANYA ... Arnav shouted from his bedroom, what? She said as she walked in to their bedroom, have you packed my suitcase honey? Arnav replied with a soft and loving tone No! and why should I came the curt reply, you know I'm not happy about you going to this so called event and I've told you several times to quit the bloody show so if you not gonna listen to me I'm not going to listen to you Lavanya snapped back.

Arnav turned around from packing his suitcase which he had just pulled out and was on the bed . Arnav Went up to lavanya and pulled her closer to him, sweetheart you know I would do anything for you I will fight every obstacle that comes my way to be with you, I will give up everything and everyone that's important to me if you asked me to but you have to trust me you need to realise I will not cheat or betray your trust ever. He then reached her forehead a placed a kiss and then said I love you Lavs always have and always will you are my first and my last.

Getting out of Arnav's hold and turning her back towards Arnav's back whilst facing her dressing table Lavanya reached out for her brush and started brushing her hair. Looking back at Arnav from the mirror and said look Arnav you need to quit this show I don't like the fact of you interacting with all these women ... But listen Lavanya, Arnav tried explaining but she was having none of it .. Either you quit and we move abroad like I suggested or I leave you ... I will tell you what arnav, she then turned around , think about what you want to do I will give you a week to think about it I'm heading of to my parents for a week if you still want me and willing to listen to what I'm saying great pick me up from my parents otherwise we are over.

With that Lavanya walked out of their bedroom grabbing the holdall she had packed ready for her visit to her parents.

Arnav stood their in a state of shock couldn't even react ... He only came back out of his trance when he heard the front door banging ... She had left him and now it was up to him to make the descion.

As Arnav fell back on his bed he thought to himself what he was going to do ... Deep down even he knew what he was going to do ... Quit the show after he came back from UK, he loved Lavanya to much and they were together since they were at school. The perfect couple they were known as both by his family and friends and his fans and they were up until a few years ago when her insecurities kicked in. Arnav always made sure Lavanya was mentioned in all interviews he give and also took her with him to any parties or events he attended but it was never enough. Arnav laughed to himself thinking about the title perfect couple they were given but no one knew what happened behind close doors ... Arnav knew and even Lavanya knew that it was Arnav who had more love for Lavanya than she did for him it was not easy for him to convince her to get married to him and the day he did he felt like he was the luckiest man alive ...

With that thought he got up and started pack in his suitcase ...
