Hey Sabs,

I was actually not at all impressed with yesterday's episode. The acting etc. was superb as usual. So, it was certainly not that.

Here is why the episode failed for me - so far, thakursa has been a powerful villain. There has been a certain aura around him that was always maintained even when he was scheming the worst possible carnage. Yesterday, they reduced him to a common criminal without any class. That's how I felt when he kept answering Paro's question one by one. He almost looked like a puppet in Paro's hands. They diluted his character several notches down yesterday

I understand that a full revelation was necessary to bring his downfall, and to bring on the next track, but I wish they had done it maintaining his aura. A powerful, and charismatic villain's downfall should be also be just as charismatic, and as big!

Other than that, no complaints.

Nice analysis, especially the write up on the red chilly powder😊

Hey Bidz!! 😊 Delighted that my post appealed to you.
The epi was bound to feel a bit thanda after the high drama of the Showdown. Even so I take your point. They did indeed shear Thakursa of his power. And without that key element he was just an evil, deluded man. Not inspiring fear as much as ridicule. And you are right the aura was diluted. But even so Tarun held my attention with his mercurial swings, and both he and Sanaya managed to carry off a rather longish chat.

Really late today ... but wanted to say, awesome post, as always, Sabs. I enjoyed the episode ... and its good to see an MU in desi soap land actually being cleared. Now on to the next one 😉

Acting wise, Tarun and Sanaya shared the honors ... I liked Danveer in his brief appearance yesterday, he was very good. Ashish was good in his short scene too ... Rudra's concern for Paro is unshaken by her running off with Tejawat, so what will be the basis of the new MU? Kaakisa?

Thank you, Diya! 😊 And I really appreciate your turning up here at all - I can fully empathise with how difficult it is to get away from your own thread, especially when it is as busy as yours was today. 😊
Sunehri, backed by Kakisa, has done him in just now. And his own bias against beautiful women won't let him think anything else for a while. Sighhh.
