I think the character Aditi is there to try seperating Astha and Shlok but will end up bringing them closer instead and also make Shlok admit his feelings for Astha.
Coming to Jyothi it was only Astha who was against sending Jyotji with her husband back in the first place where as Shlok gave in for his Father.

Agreed dat Shlok gave in for his father regarding sending Jyothi back but if he comes to know that torture is continuing he will not remain silent for sure... And after watching today's epi, atleast now Jyothi shd get sum guts to do sumthing for real for escaping atleast for the sake of her child...
