It's quite an emotional n heart-touching update dr...!!!!!

No doubt about that Riya was hurt beyond limits when she saw Saakshi so close to Arjun that it shattered her heart in to million pieces but she has to bear that pain coz of the stupid decision that she made in the past...!!!!

I still thought the same that they both could avoided whatever is happening in their lives if they tried to understand each other earlier n I don't think Riya is the only one to blame for their broken marriage. She had done the biggest mistake of her life n there is no justification for it but why she took that drastic step is the main question...?????? Not only she but somewhere her parents n Samjun are also responsible for that to some extent...!!!!! I know Samjun cared for her a lot n even her parents but they couldn't stop her from achieving her aims. Her father's indifferent behaviour regarding her job was the biggest reason to prove her mettle as an officer. This situation wouldn't arise if they let her took her decision n didn't burdened her by their over possessive behaviour. If Riya could understand that their over-possessiveness is just coz they love her thn may be she couldn't take such an impulsive step. That one decision changed their life.

Now their life became very much complicated...!!!!! Wow Riya Riya wanted to leave but Arjun didn't allowed her to do so...!!!!! Poor Saakshi seemed so confused n couldn't even voiced out her confusion coz of Arjun's fear...!!!!!

Wow they all get an invitation for party from Raghu sir...!!!! Awww Arjun looked quite devastated...!!!!

Arjun's reaction when he reached home n didn't find Riya showed that he doesn't want to let her go...!!!! Then what about Saakshi...?????? How will she react when she come to know about their relationship...?????? She will also have to suffer n that too without any fault of her...!!!!!

Awww Samsha moments were really so wonderful...!!!!! The both are in a dilemma that how to fix things in their lives...!!!!!

Chapter 18

Ayesha entered the party and walked to the couple to greet them.Sameer too followed her and as planned sameer handed over the bouquet on behalf of the ETF team to the couple greeting them.Raghu was never too fond of Sameer though Arjun and Sameer both were trained under him.Though they shared a polite proffesional relation but then in the personal front raghu always supported Arjun for everything unlike Sameer.He even shared a fatherly relation with Riya after they got married and Riya too respected him like her own father.

He was always in contact with both even after Riya and Arjun broke up and had witnessed the pain and remorse Arjun had gone through.He never complained any of them for whatever happened between them but then he had always tried to bring them close only to have failed in his attempts always.Arjun was always reluctant to even speak or hear about riya and riya she always avoided him when he spoke about Arjun.

Thus when he called Arjun to invite for the party he decided to invite riya too,in a tiny hope to knot them back in the marital vows again.He hadnt much failed this time as Riya walked up the next instance catching his attention in the beautiful wedding dress.

Sameer and Ayesha were busy in their own group of colleagues and friends when they heard Sheen,Raghu Tripathi's 20 year old daughter,shout and run to someone,

'riya bhabhi,kaisi ho?'she shouted and hugged her,

Riya too smiled at her and hugged her back.They spoke for sometime and riya along with sheen walked up to Raghu smiling.She touched his feet and hugged his wife.They blessed her with some soothing words.

Ayesha walked to her and they started chatting.Sameer too joined them in sometime.
They were enjoying themselves laughing and talking when Sakshi entered with Arjun and all eyes including riya's turned to the couple.

Sakshi had met Arjun in the parking lot and thus both entered the hall together.Riya had suspected sakshi to share a special bond with Arjun when she came to meet him in the morning and then their close encounters didnt go unnoticed but then she had a lost hope somewhere in her heart,which still beated for him.

Arjun walked in with sakshi chirpily greeting everyone beside him.He stopped his tracks at the door and looked around and thats when a glimpse of a very known red dress caught his attention.He looked towards the source and found riya standing with a pale face,her eyes full of questions.Their eyes locked for a brief moment and she looked away,faking a smile at sameer who pressed her shoulder softly and then looked at Arjun with disgust.

Arjun ignored all the accusions and walked to the couple to greet them.Raghu hugged him happily and sheen ran into his arms calling him 'bhaiya' from a distance.He kissed his hair softly and she left him with a sparkle in her eyes.Riya was continuously looking at him and the soft gesture between the siblings brought a smile to her lips but it couldnt reach nor her eyes neither her ear.

Sakshi found Sameer and Ayesha standing together and walked to them.She hugged Ayesha and greeted sameer.She was about to poke them about the permanent blush on Ayesha's cheeks when she noticed the other person.She found riya too looking there quitely.She recognised her from the morning meet and greeted her too,

'Riya right?mein sakshi,subah mile the remember?tum yaha kaise?'she asked riya surprised,

'haan..Raghu Sir ne mujhe invite kya tha,tum yaha kaise?'riya replied with a calm soft tone,

'jaise ye log yaha hai,pura ETF invite hua hai na??'sakshi replied her happily,

'tum bhi ETF mein ho?'riya asked her back looking towards Sameer who lowered his eyes and then started looking around,walking away from there,

'Riya,ye sakshi..sakshi Anand,ETF mein crime journalist,'Ayesha came to their rescue,

'tum riya ko janti ho Ayesha?'sakshi asked confused,

Ayesha was about to answer her but sheen's voice stopped her.They looked towards the voice and found sheen standing on the raised platform with a mic.She looked at her parents who were glaring at her just to be ignore by her with a huge smile.Arjun walked to the end of the hall and stood looking at her with crossed arms.

Sheen took the opertunity to greet her parents and invite all the people in the celebrations of her parents 25th anniversary.That made her parents blush while others clapped and rejoiced at the occasion.He father opened a bottle of champagne with a pop and toasted it to their love knot while sheen brought in a big candled chocolate cake with her.

Everyone was happily rejoycing with the couple but far end two hearts where feeling lost.Riya was continuously looking around for Arjun but was not able to find him.She looked at the happy faces of the couples and it brought tears in her eyes.They had always dreamt of such anniversary parties where their children would be hosting and they would just be celebrating the long years of togetherness.But unfornately nothing of such happened and might never ever happen.

Arjun was suffocating with the cheerful laughs and shouts when his lost dreams came crashing down to him.He quitely walked out of the hall and stood at the portico outside.
Between all the celebrations Sakshi was missing Arjun.She was thinking of their moments together,the time they spoke for hours,the closeness they shared in each others arms,the tears of joy and pleasure,everything was making her miss him beside her.

She looked around for him and saw him walk out slowly towards the portico.She too followed him behind and slowly left the hall before anyone notices.She found Arjun leaning on the wall alone lost in his thoughts.

She touched his arm and he looked at her from the corner of his eyes.He looked away and blinked his eyes several times to stop the moist from flowing down from the eyes.Sakshi spoke to him,

'kya hua arjun?tum yaha kyu chale aye?'she asked him showing her concern,

Arjun shook his head but didnt look at her.

Sakshi held on his arms and turned him towards her.He looked down at her.She did notice the
gloominess in his eyes and hugged him keeping her head on his chest.He held her shoulders softly.After a long pause,sakshi finally voiced out,

'tum apni ex wife ko miss kar rahe ho na?'

Arjun didnt know what to reply but he knew he had to tell her the truth or it might get more complicated.He held her by her shoulders and made her look at him.He cupped her face and found her eyes closed with a smile lerking on her lips.The sadness inside him deepened to a number of times and he hugged her back,leaning his head near her neck.He couldnt hurt her more with the truth.

Inside the hall,the party was in full swing.The cake was cut,the toast was raised now was the time for some dance.Romantic music was on the roll while the young and old couples swayed with their partners.

Sameer and Ayesha both were waiting for the other to initiate a step but none of them could get the courage to held out and looked at each other,sometimes smiling and sometimes glaring.Finally Sameer brought out his hand and held it out to her,but before ayesha could hold it,Chotu walked to them and held Ayesha's hand pulling her towards the dance floor where shree was already shaking a leg.

Sameer gave a murderous look to chotu while he took his hand down which chotu prompty missed but Ayesha didnt.She chuckled at him and walked away with chotu with a small wink.Sameer kept a close look to each move Ayesha made and also on the two nomads.

It was sometime now Ayesha was enjoying herself while sameer was getting irritated.Finally gathering all the courage he walked to the dance floor where they were changing partners in dance,he held her hand and swirled her round bringing her back to him.Ayesha held onto his shoulders firmly and looked at him with wide eyes.He gave a small wink and pulled her back to the him swaying with her.

Chotu and Shree were gaping at their chief and his lady officer's dance moves with shocked face and quickly moved away before they fainted on the floor.

At the same time Sheen spotted Riya standing at the end of the door looking towards the portico.She came to her and held her shoulder,which brought her back from the lost state and she smiled a fake smile at her.

Riya had come there searching for Arjun and reached just the moment when sakshi hugged her man.

'kya bhabhi yaha kya kar rahi ho?'sheen asked her,

'kuch nehi bas wo..'riya mumbled blinking her eyes,trying to drain the tears,

Sheen looked at the direction she was looking and found sakshi and Arjun in the portico.She guessed the matter and held riya's hand and walked towards them.

'To aap yaha hai,bhabhi ko akele chor ke yaha kya kar rahe hai?'she scolded arjun,who was bewildered at their sudden entry,

'wo mein..sheen tum yaha..'arjun started but one look at riya's pale face and he knew she had seen them together.

'wo mein kya?ab chalo dance karna hai na,chalo..'sheen held onto arjun's hand and pulled both riya and arjun back towards the hall.Both protested but none of their cries were heard.

Sheen brought them to the dance floor and left them in front of each other.Both were hesitating to even look at each other in the eye when shree came from behind and held on riya.

'riya?kab ayi tum?hospital se discharge hone ke baad ek bar mili bhi nehi,kaisi dost ho yaar?'shree continued shouting from behind.

Riya felt embarrased and looked at Arjun who was still looking away.Chotu apologised and took shree away while the song changed and the lights dimmed.

'marna chahta hai kya,wo Arjun sir hai,bhool gaya?'chotu whispered to shree who seem to remember suddenly and kept shut.

Riya came forward and held onto Arjun's arms.Arjun felt the warm embrace and held on her waist.Both looked at each other with sad eyes while the kept moving to the music.

Sakshi had felt a strange feeling when sheen had called riya bhabhi and then Arjun her bhaiya.She tried to take it casually but her mind kept on ringing back the greetings.She looked towards arjun and found him looking towards Riya who had a sad pale face and looked embarrased.She felt it very strange.She tried to search for the answers in each others gazes but Arjun had already left.After Arjun and Riya left the portico,she too walked in slowly,taking small steps.She was feeling a strange fear,fear of losing something too dear to her.

Sakshi entered the dimly lit hall to find Arjun and Riya swaying in each others arms.They were hesitating but looked comfortable in each other.Their face should calmness and peace.She felt her heart beat fast and her throat dry up.She was feeling scared.She walked to the front and stood beside shree,who was enjoying the dances of their ETF couples.
She called shree and softly spoke in his ears,

'Shree ye Arjun ke sath kaun hai?'she asked him,

'kaun?Riya?wo to humari dost hai aur..'shree started and stopped,

'tum kiyu puch rahi ho?'shree asked her,

'batao na..'she nudged irritated,

'wo Arjun sir ki Ex wife,they got divorced a year back,'shree replied with a sad face.

Sakshi could feel the ground slide from under her feet.She moved at the back slowly and held onto the wall for support.Her head was spinning and she was sweating.She just wanted to run away from there.From everywhere where Arjun ever existed.She felt her eyes brimming with tears while a lump forming in her throat.

It was dark and the smoke around was making it difficult to see others.Shree came to her to ask sakshi for dance.She rejected him plainly but he forced her to the dance floor with him.They were dancing for sometime.Sakshi had succesfully hid her pain from him but her eyes never left the couple,who were so lost in each other that they didnt notice her beside them.But suddenly again change of partners took place in the dance floor and she unknowingly fell into Arjun's arms.

Sakshi looked at his eyes and felt the pain increasing with every breath.Arjun felt a strange paleness on her face.He didnt know what had suddenly made her usually joyful eyes sad.She tried to jerk his arms away and walk out but arjun held her straight in his arms and looked at her.He understood she had come to know the truth somehow and unknowingly he had hurt her immensely.

Arjun looked at sakshi with appologetic eyes and that made her loose herself to him.She hugged him tight,while the tears fell down to her cheeks soaking his shirt.
