02 May 2007 (Sawf News) - Try as he might, Amitabh Bachchan is not able to shake off the controversy surrounding the guest list for his son's wedding, which is increasingly appearing like the albatross around the neck of the ancient mariner. According to DNA, while Amitabh has been 'shouting from the rooftops' that Bollywood's big stars understand why they were not invited to his son's wedding and that all of them had sent or telephoned their good wishes, ("They understand my position, and have sent their greetings," he said to the TOI in an exclusive one-on-one) the grapevine says that the reality is quite different. A new found camaraderie amidst the Khans (Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan) and their bonding with other leading Bollywood stars at Shah Rukh's palatial Mannat bungalow on Saturday are seen as a consequence of the Bachchan snootiness. Hrithik Roshan's hearty participation in the World Cup soiree has left industry watchers wondering whether Abihsihek's childhood friend has now joined the Khan camp? Hrithik, encouraged by his Khan pals, danced to every number from Dhoom 2 bringing to mind the notorious 'lip smooch' with Aishwarya, which is said to have caused a rift between the Bachchans and Hrithik.

The Khans, as well as Karan Johar joined him on the dance floor as Priyanka Chopra and Preity Zinta - with their boyfriends Harman Baweja and Ness Wadia - looked on with amusement, while Bollywood's biggest heroes bonded together!

There's never any smoke without fire. So, while Big B may be shouting from the rooftop that Bollywood's big stars weren't upset about not being invited to his son's wedding, the grapevine is buzzing with rumours which suggest quite the opposite..

One of the biggest aftermaths of the wedding list fiasco, of course, has been the sudden new love Bollywood's Khans (Shah Rukh, Saif, Salman) have developed for each other. And if our source is to be believed, Hrithik Roshan (Abhi's childhood pal who was left out of the marriage festivities) has joined this enviable club!

At the recent World Cup cricket soiree thrown by Shah Rukh Khan at his palatial home Mannat, the bond between the 'Krrish' star and the Khans simply couldn't be missed. Egged on by his news pals SRK and Sallu, Hrithik wowed the guests with his impromptu dance performance. He danced on all the popular 'Dhoom 2' songs, the movie (in particular the kiss between Ash and Hrithik) that has supposedly caused a rift between the Bachchans and him.

The two Khans soon joined the dance guru on the floor along with film-maker Karan Johar, who proved just why he was the right choice as choreographer for the Ash-Abhi wedding.

Priyanka Chopra stuck close to beau Harman Baweja and Preity Zinta to Ness Wadia, as good food, music and booze flowed till the wee hours of the morning. And, so what if India was not playing, no one was really bothered about the match. All eyes were on Bollywood's biggest players interacting off the field!

And about the kiss, Aishwarya consented to it didn't she? So why all the blame on Hrithik? Maybe they are still mad Hrithik got all the credit.
